Excellent machine, works great!!!!!

Heavy duty machine, does a great job splitting wires. Fairly simple to setup and use. Fairly priced.

So the main reason I got this tripper was the strip 500 MCM and 350 MCM and it worked fantastic. I also had a bunch of small rolls of number 12 stranded and I set them up on a ladder with a piece of half-inch conduit going through and it ate the whole roll. Split it on the first time I definitely suggest that you backed the blade tensioners all the way out and run a small pieces through to get your stripping debt right and that’ll keep the blade sharp as well as not as much wear and tear on your gearbox. Also, it comes with oil and it comes with grease on there but two preventative maintenance tips I got depending on how much you’re using it to look to make sure checking for grease and oil before you use.

Easy to use, will need to adjust the cut depth to what works best for you. Cuts solid and stranded copper wire with ease!

Pretty good for the job intended but just know the thinner of the wire the warts is going to be in the more aggravation. But at the end of the day if you make it over $100 or more on just stripped copper wire and not including any other parts of your scrap run you've made out better than the next guy. With certain types such as low voltage cable Romex and coax it's going to take a couple passes and you going to need heavy duty gloves not the wool gloves that they give you to protect your hands and fingers. You'll always have to readjust the alignment and this is one of the reasons why you might have to make multiple passes and check to make sure the stripped wire isn't it and caught up in the gears. This product doesn't save time but what it does do is yield more of a return. Which at the end of the day is what you actually want. The durability is great it takes a look and keeps on ticking no matter how hard you run it just know if you have difficulty with the wire your drill will as well if you use that as a attachment. Don't break your drill just do it by hand. And yes depend on the excited cable and what layee you're working with with each cable you will have to adjust it repeatedly.

ein Stück Handwerkskunst aus China, alles passt präzise, Kanten sind entgratet und vor allem, es funktioniert perfekt. Beschreibung in korrektem Englisch. Gut verpackt und pünktlich angekommen. Um den Preis bekommt man bei uns nicht einmal das Material dafür, ganz zu schweigen von den mehreren Arbeitsstunden für den Bau. Wäre noch interessant, ob man das Schneiderad nachbestellen kann bzw. ob das eine Norm hat. Man kann aber das ganze Ding sehr einfach zerlegen und das Messer selbst schleifen. Man könnte übrigens auch einen elektrischen Antrieb verbinden, allerdings sollte der sehr langsam übersetzt sein und würde nur bei ganz geraden Drähten funktionieren. Überhaupt empfiehlt es sich, die Drähte vor dem Entmanteln gut zu begradigen, sonst hüpfen sie oft neben das Messer. Da hat die Handkurbel den Vorteil, dass ich gleich zurückdrehen und neu ansetzen kann. Habe lange nach diesem Gerät gesucht und bin jetzt damit sehr zufrieden. Klare Empfehlung!
