Polarising filter
Ordered a cheapish filter to begin with to see if suited me. At first fit it appeared not to vary polarising effect as I rotated it on the camera. But upon further trials on the reflections off my car bonnet, it does vary with rotation as described. Just got to get the angle right. Quality is very good for a budget filter, but one thing I don't like is how hard it can be to remove from lens. Iy takes a few rotations on sliding ring before it seems to pick up on the threads and starts to unscrew. Not a massive issue, but would be a right pain if needing to remove in a hurry.

Good for a 1st Polarising filter
It's been my 1st CPL so was not 100% what to expect. Looking through the filter or with the filter attached to the lens it's not clear which is the polarised part of the fliter. However attaching and looking through the view finder whilst rotating, particularly when directed at the sky or water, it becomes clear when those parts are being 'polarised'. Definitely reduces the glare of water reflections and adds saturation to blue skies.I have no idea if the more expensive CPLs on the market will provide a better end result as this is the only one I've ever used. But so far it's delivering the results I was after.

Overall, I highly recommend it
The lens filter is clearly of high quality. It is made with class, the rotations on the lens are mega smooth, the photos gain better contrast with a small shade of purple or blue. A great thing and I highly recommend it.

Great quality, slightly annoying to attach
Due to the anti-vignette design, it is very thin despite having a freely rotating ring for the filter element. If there’s any sort of recess it is incredibly difficult to get it screwed on tight enough, that rotating the filter won’t also unscrew it.Virtually incompatible with clamp-on matte boxes. Works OK on regular lenses without accessories.

Excellent quality CPL filter!
I'm very impressed with this filter - it may be Chinese made, but the optical quality is excellent (I look at the refraction as I hold the filter and turn it from side to side - any movement in the image will effect the optical quality, especially on wide angle lenses)The mount (for a 39mm filter) is quite chunky, but is screws on to the lens just fine and does what polarising filters are supposed to do.Although not a problem with this one, if you ever have difficulty removing a filter from your lens, put a rubber band around the circumference and this will enable you go grip the filter and unscrew it without squeezing and distorting it, which makes it tighter.Heartily recommended, and I will be buying more K&F filters in future now that Hoya are so expensive!
