12 out of 10
I think it's an amazing product, 12 out of 10, I needed it to remove a locking wheel nut, it caught the bolt at a funny angle and it still got it, I know it will be great with other bolts, if you're looking for a bolt remover, you won't be disappointed

This set has saved my bacon more than once
This set is brilliant and has saved me drilling several bolts/screws out. I have used the same pieces a lot of times and they seem to be very durable, I do use them quite hard (you have to hammer them) and I can’t see any signs of damage to any of the “Threads” it’s a great kit

Works well, but
Obviously for the price these aren't going to last as long as a more expensive set. Having used the set for a couple of broken bolts, I only have one criticism, the first bolt came out relatively easily, but I broke the extractor on the second bolt. The instructions recommended using an drill with the extractor, I also used the bit holder, unfortunately this didn't run true, which resulted in the extractor breaking.

Weak material
After one bolt extracted the no18 bit is gone. This is one use only. Cheap chinese material

These are made of cheese.
Like all easy out products not manufactured by a major tool brand, these are rubbish. They just snap off and make drilling out way more difficult. I ended up welding to the stud and extracting the old fashioned way. These are a waste of money.

brilliant piece of kit
Extracted a rusted bolt from a marine engine sweet as a nut. Worked exactly as described, saved a huge amount of effort and worry.

Looks great, actual effectiveness less so…
I’m not sure if I’m lucky or unlucky, but this good looking little box of extractors arrived just after I had purchased a replacement toilet seat. Why was that a problem I hear you ask? Well the old seat had a faulty fitting screw that hadn’t been correctly manufactured - the cross head was too shallow. The previous owner had managed to get the screw in but there was no purchase to get a PH2 screwdriver onto it.Let’s call on my new extractor set. Spoiler alert - it failed miserably. The drill failed to get any distance into the screw head and the extractor didn’t grip at all. Of all things Superglueing a small bolt to the top of the screw allowed the gentle purchase I needed and the toilet seat was free!So on the experience of one unsuccessful usage my confidence is limited… the bolt extractors look more effective than the screw extractors hence I haven’t thrown my teddies out of the pram. Just be aware of the limitations that I have experienced.
