This is the best bike helmet I have ever owned. My head is large, and I always have a hard time finding hats and helmets that fit my fat head. I ordered the X-large, and it was still way too tight, so I had to send it back and get the XX-large! Perfect fit. nice and snug, no extra room, but also not squeezing my temples.This helmet has some solid construction. It does not feel flimsy in any way, and is also very comfortable. The feature that allows you to change out the liners is also very nice. You can switch out the liner for a cold weather one if you are biking in the winter or fall. The visor is also a nice touch, it only sticks out a little from the helmet but it does provide some extra sunblock.The style is also great! I wish I could have ordered it in another color but they only had black ones for people with fat heads.I have been biking with this helmet all summer, and the only complaint I have is that there is not a ton of ventilation. I use it to commute, and my commute is only 15 minutes so it doesn't bother me, but I would look for a different helmet if you are biking in hot weather for extended periods of time.

An aknowleged classic, the Bern Watts defines the standard in proactive urban helmets. This helmet is very well thought out and well designed with accessories that allow great versatility form summer riding to winter skiing. The availability of xxl and xxxl sizes in addition to standard SML is very welcome to jug heads like me. I've been biking for about 50 years and pride myself on being a hard core urban commuter. I don't scrimp on protective gear and own $200+ helmets. The Watts belongs with the best of them and is a great value. It's not a lid for your local crit. But when you are over that and want function and proction for your commute this is a great choice.

I love the fact that it can be used for skiing, biking, etc. The year-round versatility is a huge bonus for this helmet.It looks pretty good too (I like the urban look) and the fit is quite comfortable. So why only 4 stars? Simply because, how much can you really be wowed by a helmet? This purchase didn't convince me to stick with Bern Watts for the rest of my life. Its a great helmet, but I think there might be better out there.

I bought this for my adult son who has a large skull, and this brand was one of the very FEW that sells size XXL helmets. The helmet fits my son just fine. Our only disappointment is that there is no goggle clip NOR can you order a goggle clip anywhere in the USA - the only way to get one is to order it from Germany or something.

Great helmet, visor is very nice. The visor not only shields your eyes in bright sunlight but also makes the helmet look more stylish and cool.Looks - While my head is very large, the helmet doesn't make that worse. They use slim materials so it doesn't look like I'm balancing a watermelon on my head. Also I mentioned the visor already, it looks nice.Fit - I tried the XL of every brand in several skate shops with no success. When I wear caps with adjustable snap strips I'm on the last snap. This fits well.It also comes with stickers. The price was right also. Go get one.

First, make sure you don't buy this for intense sport, your head will sweat too much. This is meant for casual transportation. I use it to go to work on rollerblades. Use official website size chart to find your best size. And google how to take your head size.5 starts because:- Fit perfectly to my huge head- Look good- Super easy to adjust and wash.- Can transform into a snowboard helmet.

If you ask me I can't rate this product higher than 2 because it did not fit. I have a jumbo sized head (8 1/8" fitted hat size) and need to special order hats if I want them to fit. This XXL size didn't do squat for me, looks like I will have to stick to Bell's models.

The overall build quality is top notch but it gets a bit hot and you look like a real geek.

My 59cm head rattles around inside this helmet. I get the feeling that when I turn my head it stays facing forward!The size adjustment is very limited, only really adjusting front-back fit a small amount, meaning a narrow head isn't accommodated well.It's also heavy compared to typical vented cycle helmets, which only makes its precarious perch atop my head even more wobbly.I recommend trying one on before considering a purchase as the sizing seems not only way off but also tailored to a particular shape.
