My husband Mike has stage 4 prostate cancer. The doctor gave him 4 to 6 months to live. His feet have been swelling a great deal due to the cancer and blood issues and can no longer wear his size 13 wide shoes. I bought him a size 14 sketchers wide fit and they are too small and painful to put on. Now with the cancer, he can no longer wear size 14 wide. I had to take him to and from his oncologist and even to the store. His feet have swelled due to the cancer and now I had to find size 15 wide. I remember he having great trouble putting on his shoes. He could not put size 14 on without it hurting him. and now the cancer spread to almost every single bone in his body. I wanted him to have some sort of dignity before he dies. Not being able to wear shoes takes away his dignity. I found these shoes for him. He cannot put on his shoes without a shoehorn, without me trying to put them on. He can't go to the doctors without shoes on his feet. I am going to take my husband on a date, while he can still walk, while he still knows who I am. I thank you for allowing him to have dignity by providing this unusual size shoe. Thank you so much. I highly recommend I have crazy wide and swollen feet can't fit any shoes it takes a lot of money to find shoes to fit my feet. I have wounds on my feet so I also have bandages on both of my feet I took a chance a bought these! I love these shoes I'm a mechanic and I'm on cement all day long and these are very comfortable this is my 2bd pair I recommend these to anyone that has swollen feet and ankles and these are cheap and they last I wore them for probably almost 2 years and I could still wear them but you know they're cheap enough to be able to buy another pair you can put pretty much any insole in them so you make them as comfortable as you want but if you're on the fence about him and you're having trouble finding shoes to fit your feet these will fit your feet and no last a good while I highly highly recommend these shoes and this is the first review I've ever left but if you get these shoes and you you do have swollen ankles and feet you want to take these shoes and stuff them with something it's like the size you're ink or feet and leave it sit for like a day or two and then wear them so it's pretty much broken already but I love these shoes Best shoes ever
