Ronseal 35072 Ivory OC Cupboard Paint Satin 750ML

I’ve used this paint before on wardrobes but this time I used it on my kitchen cupboards. It’s great paint. I always do at least two coats. But this colour is supposed to be ivory, but it’s really cream.

I have given this a 1 star on the advise of the 'handyman' who has painted my kitchen cupboards for me. The paint was watery, was not touch dry in 4 hours - overnight nearer the truth -, did not cover in one coat, and was not ivory. He had taken the doors away so I had not seen the colour until he brought some of the doors back - the colour is best described as country cream! To add insult to injury he ran out of paint because he had had to give the doors 2 coats and so he bought the same brand and colour from Wickes, and this was the colour ivory which I had wanted. I have had to order another tin from Amazon and am praying that it is the same colour as I now already have . SO, I have paid extra for a tin of spare paint which is the colour I had originally wanted, I have had to pay the man almost 3times for the job because of the extra work in having to do at least 2 coats sometimes 3 because it is so watery, and I have a tin of paint which doesn't fit in with the colour of the rest even though it has exactly the same details on the tin. NOT HAPPY. Only positive things are that the tin bought from Wickes IS ivory as stated, and not watery so covers much better - though can't be used because of the colour difference. Wish I had bought the paint from there first. How can the same paint be so different in quality?

3 stars only, why?? Wrong colour of the paint. Second the can was slightly unshaped😕

Arrived 2 days before expected date of Standard delivery. For perfect finish, you need 2 coats.

Easy to use

I've used Ronseal for years, and it "does do what it says on the tin" Just Not This Tin !! This product was advertised as Acyclic Satin-- It's more of a Semi Gloss & Solvent -- Dries in 1-2 hours -- recoat in 24 hours -- this took 48 hours before I could even touch it without leaving a finger print. Outstandingly poor product, I'm wondering if it's ""Old Stock" I did send for a return label, but it's cost prhibitive to send it back, so I guess it will end up at the recycle center !!

Best paint iv ever worked with and I'm at the building game a long time 40years, this paint used properly is the bees knees.
