Nice Unit. But read review
Used to this swage 5/32" stainless stay cables. The five star review is based on the fact that this unit appears to be well made, and worked great for my use. Very smoothe operation. A few qualifications though:1) I used this with aluminum and zinc coated copper crimping sleeves, not stainless.2) Don't look to the instructions to figure out how to use this thing. They consist of a one page xerox sheet clearly written by someone for whom English is not a first language. The result can best be described as somewhat humorous gibberish. Here is an actual excerpt:"Turn moveable handle to drive plunger work. Then oil pressure lifts."The good news is that it is quite simple to operate. Interestingly, once you figure out how to work it, the instructions make sort of crazy sense. Almost as if they were written in a letter from an old friend in a distant country....or on a distant planet.3) The included cable cutter is in no way suitable for cutting stainless steel cable. I assume it was designed for copper or aluminum conductors which both the instructions, and the sizing on the crimping dies refer to. I really don't think any shear type cutter would work on stainless cable without hopelessly mashing the ends. Something to be aware of (i.e. the need for a suitable cutter for a clean edge). I used an angle grinder with a metal cut-off disc for this purpose and it worked fine.

Works well. Had sufficient power, had no crimp failures.
Longer handles would be nice as my arms were tired after doing 50 crimps. The tool is powerful enough, just requires a lot of muscle force to operate. I can't blame this particular tool as every other one I saw is virtually identical. I could purchase a higher quality tool for a lot more money, so I suppose this one is a pretty reasonable value for my project.

CheapBut Functional
Dies for tool do not stay lined up and must be realigned after every crimp…. Hydraulics done always engage and you have to ply with knob … tool functions ok but far from a professional unit

I chose the more expensive one, expecting to see better quality.
Tool curve dies do not converge exactly. the box is not from this this tool. Each time the box is closed, the replacement dies are mixed inside. The box basically cannot be closed; the latches do not work at all.

Save yourself some hassle and get a manual swaging tool
This thing stopped working after about 20 crimps. It's pretty much a 2 man job if your doing deck railing so a manual swaging tool is faster anyway. Save your money and grab a friend. You'll be better off
