Great product
Amazing pasta maker. It will make pasta in just over 3 minutes. Or, you can make the mix and leave the mix to rest for 30 minutes and extrude your pasta later. this gives a slightly better texture. It will accept regular, pea protein and wholemeal flour. It’s easy to make spinach, beetroot or egg pasta. the machine does all the weighing and maths to ensure a great result.Full instructions included. there’s also a good section on the Philips website.

Good quality pasta maker
This machine makes really great pasta. It’s important to really closely follow the recipe as it gets blocked up otherwise. The automatic weighing of flour is temperamental so I pre weigh to be sure. Highly recommended as the taste of your own fresh pasta beats anything from supermarkets.

So simple!
Ive just made my first batch of pasta. 250g of 00 Flour, 1 large egg and (including the egg and you mix it up really well with a fork) 95ml of water. I did have to add a little more water and looking at the end result, I think next time I would use the egg and take it up to 100ml of water. The mixing was great.Extrusion into Penne was good.Once finished there was a significant bit of the mixture left but you cannot scrape it off and start extrusion again so that was a waste. It cleans up beautifully BUT the extrusion pattern mould was really tough to get all the bits of mixture out of. It might be different in a dishwasher. Ive left it soaking in hot water to see if that cleans it.I am sure with use I will master the device better but for a first use, I am delighted and it is really so simple!

Sooo easy and simple to use!
The media could not be loaded. Sooo simple!! Unfortunately I didn’t get a flour cup included in my box but no biggy as the machine measures it all out itself and then prompts you to how much liquid (water +/- egg) is required based on the flour amount added to machine.Only tried the tagliatelle shape for now and not yet tasted it but seems great! But can’t wait to try the others. So far pleased with it.Majority of contact parts easy to clean just popped them into the dishwasher and came out fine, hand rinsed them all first prior to use!

5 mins for fresh pasta. Not bad at all
An absolutely fantastic machine. 5 mins to have fresh pasta (awesome). Got mine in the prime sale.I found that you do need to take the lid off to place any leftovers into the screw. But that doesn't get a star removed.I also found semolina flour with an egg to have the best results.

Great machine, but you do need to know what you're doing
This is a brilliant machine, but the instructions that come with it are absolutely dreadful. So throw those away and go on the internet and find some groups that talk about how to actually use it.For one, you don't use 00 flour in this machine, you should use semola, the recipes aren't great that come with this either. And the dies are hit and miss. You can stock up from Pastidea dies which is what most people seem to do.In short: a great machine that just needs a bit of homework doing before you use it if you're to have great results. It's a shame Phillips doesn't make this easier. but if you've bought this and it isn't doing quite what you want then do check out some great support groups on Facebook etc that can help.

easy to make pasta
The media could not be loaded. We recently picked up this pasta machine to incorporate more veggies for the kids diet. The first batch of pasta made about 5 portions. You download the NutriU app for recipes and guidance on to how to use the Philips 700 pasta machine. The box included 7 pasta shape discs, scraper, measuring cup, and cleaning brushes. The middle holes were ok, but the sides made the pasta rough on the first try. The pasta making machine feels very sturdy and easy to clean with little mess made.I like how the machine automatically weighs and mixes the flour to make incredibly easy pasta. The machine doesn't take too much counter space. We purchased during prime day which was a steal.

Front started moving, pasta disc popped off, snapped!
I always avoid anything Philips, but could only get this machine due to all the others being out of stock. Put the pasta disc on, made sure it was all setup properly and tight, weighed the flour, added the correct water, started spinning as it should, stopped, starting spinning the opposite way, front started moving, as it was coming off, pasta disc popped out, flour everywhere, all over my son and he was very shocked as it made a loud noise. Absolute shockingly bad design, typical of Philips.
