I was very impressed by the quality of this kitchen island. For a moveable piece of furniture, I hadn’t expected it to have the feel and build quality of permanent kitchen cabinetry. This is a solid piece of furniture. It is super heavy so I don’t have to worry about it moving around if someone leans on it. It sits on my floor and looks like it always was a part of my kitchen. It offers a lot of storage, a lot. In addition to the large double cabinet that is 24” deep, it has 2 deep cubbies with shelves on the end and 2 drawers. The shelf placements are all customizable giving me options to use the space how I want. I love the cubbies for storing cookbooks and displaying some of my favorite pieces of cookware and dishes. The drawers pull smoothly and cupboard doors open nicely as well. This has become a gathering place in my kitchen, a great place to entertain. The wood counter is warm and inviting. With the leaf up, there is a huge amount of space for prep and serving. I like how smooth the transition from the counter to the leaf is, almost seamless, a very tight fit. The support brackets are very solid as well, I can lean on the extension and it doesn’t move. Impressive build quality there. The extension provides seating for about 2 stools, with plenty of room for each person. The material quality is pretty exceptional. The counter is well finished and the whole island feels like it was built to withstand the rigors of kitchen use. It did take me a few hours to put together, but it was worth it for the solid result. Lots of fasteners for a solid piece. I am impressed.

We love our new island. There were a few challenges with assembly, but it didn’t take too long to overcome them. Overall, we are happy with this product; however the screws that hold the panel under the table top extension piece really detract from beauty of this island. Not sure why the makers would design screws to be so obvious. Oh, and the sticker on the same panel is impossible to remove.

The island was delivered quickly and was not difficult to put together. It is a beautiful island and has so much extra storage space with the deep cabinets. The shelves inside the unit are quite deep and hold lots of linens and cloths. The drawers aren't the most sturdy but they move in and out smoothly. The bottom has round rubber pieces that protect the floor.

I loved it. I added contact paper to mind to match my countertop! In the picture was I not finished. However, I loved my finished look. Matches description like mention

Number one, be aware that is coming in two boxes, they did not mention in the order and they did not come together!!!!! It’s ok piece, not sturdy as regular kitchen cabinets, but it might last if you don’t use it so often ( means you open many times a day). But to my surprise, the drawers are small, they are not as long as the width of the island and the two corners on top are basically dead space. Drawers could be wider and go all the way to the end. Drawers are big disappointment to me.

So, I wanted an island for my apartment and I was hesitant, let’s just say it was the best decision I made. Great value for price, quality of wood is excellent and it was somewhat easy to assemble. I thought about the top as I would have wanted granite. Overall, I made an excellent choice for me and my grandson. After use, I find that the leaf part doesn’t hold up that well. I had to try to tighten up; unfortunately, that doesn’t help. It’s difficult to tighten without stripping the screw hole.

Absolutely love this in my kitchen. Have had so many compliments on this. Very sturdy and great quality. Would buy again!
