It works!
Almost instantly relieved headaches, feels cool right out of the box (and you can put it in the freezer.) I want to buy a second one so I can always have a cool one when the other one is in the freezer.

Nice and stretchy
I've tried several of these and this one is pretty standard. Be advised, it's not totally light blocking, which for some migraine sufferers is pretty key. You can still see some light filtering through this, especially any strong light sources. It's also a looser fit than some of the others I've tried, which can be helpful for those who don't want a tight, close fit or have larger noggins. It does stretch pretty easily - my husband tried it on briefly and then when I put it back on, I could tell it'd stretched out. It also shows where skin touched it - I pressed my face into it, and you could see the outline of my features on it. Not a good or bad thing for me, just wanted to note it.

Not your average ice pack
It's not stiff when you freeze it. And it is cool when you take it out of the box! Nice and soft. It can be used on other body parts. As you can see it covers your eyes so it works as a black-out mask. If you don't want your whole head wrapped up you can put it on the back of your neck (if you are a back-sleeper). I've always used cold on migraines but this tops it all. My routine is to get home, take a dose of Alka-seltzer Gold, drink a cup of Natural Vitality Original Calm Magnesium, take 4 baby aspirin, put on the Migrelief Migraine Relief Cap, and dive under the covers and get to sleep.

~30 minutes of cooling
This product has good compression, and the gel is all the way around (others have a 1in gap at the seems where gel is left out), but the gel is thinner than others I have used. On a hot day, I got 30 minutes of use out of the freezer. I did not try it with heat yet so not sure how long that will last. On a reasonable temp day I'd expect probably around 45 minutes of cooling. I wish it had more gel as other brands I have used advertised 20% more gel, and seem to be thicker which lasts longer. But those ones also don't have as much compression as this one does, so unfortunately haven't found a brand that is just perfect yet but this one is definitely decent.
