Best clippers I ever had. My Mom and I used to get pedicures routinely but when she passed away, I stopped going. Needless to say my nails had grown out super thick and long. I called them my dragon nails. These clippers easily cut right through that. Seriously if you have a grandparent or someone you know that has thick nails like cement, these are highly recommended. They are very pointy and sharp so I imagine they could be really helpful with an ingrown. They are so powerful. Just be careful not to get the skin in there. They even came in a plastic case.

These do not work. I do not understand the reviews left by others. These will not cut through my nails at all. I was hoping they would make trimming my toe nails easier. I ended up using my regular toenail clippers. I would return these but it's not worth all the hassle of doing so. Didn't have a choice and had to give 1 star to post. I wouldn't give even one, if that was an option.

Not bad but not as sharp as needed for thick nails.

I've never had a pair of these before but it turned out that psoriasis will not only create skin issues, it also goes after fingernails and toenails, and that was the problem. The big toenail was lifting and the way it had done so made it impossible to clip and clear away with traditional clippers. So, I purchased these and they were EXACTLY what was needed.They are VERY SHARP, so you have to be careful with them, but they allow you to work slowly and carefully to get rid of the nail and get to the healthy part of the nail bed without getting too close and making it sore. So far, we've used it twice and the result makes the big toenail look much better than it had looked, even though the shape is still odd and not 'normal' looking.But, as the nail grows out, we're able to trim it to maintain as normal and maintained a look as we can.
