Good product. Easy to use, fits great and sturdy enough to hold two heavy doorway curtains.
I hung two Joydeco blackout curtains I bought from Amazon from this pole to separate the downstairs area of my place from the upper living area and-it did the job. I got it to adjust perfectly, just like pictured above, with ease and it’s holding the two curtains in place beautifully. I got the thicker product because I needed the width and strength to hold the two thick curtains and I’d only wished I’d thought to do this sooner. It looks great, does the job and blends right in beautifully with the navy and dark grey (I went for two different colored curtains and it’s even more attractive with all the blue/grey tones in my place). The thickness was perfect but it also just blends/fades into the background like it should. It’s strong, functional and a great price (it saved me the money and hassle of a curtain rod and it’s more efficient).

Nice rod but measurements are off!
I bought this rod to hang the viral Christmas garland in the archway of my home. I measure the space and found this rod to be perfect. My doorway is 39 “, well with the center extension, this rod is too big. Without the center, it’s too short. There is a 4” gap between 36” and 39” doorways that make the rod unusable for a 39” doorway. So, I have an extra tension Rod for somewhere in my house. Just letting you know because I truly thought this would work according to the measurements.

Doesn't actually fit the range advertised.
This seems like it would be a good product, but there is one huge problem with it. It doesn't actually work for all of the lengths within the range it advertises. The product comes in 3 pieces and you can use two for smaller spaces and all three for larger ones. However, the two piece length can only fit up to a 43 inch width. I tried making it longer than recommended to fit my space (46 inches) and it becomes unstable and doesn't stay in place. Adding in the third piece makes it 49 inches long at the minimum, you can't make it smaller. So there is about a 6 to 7 inch gap in the range advertised where you can't use this product.I can't speak to the quality or how well it stays since I can't use it and had to return it. I'd recommend a different product that actually fits the advertised capabilities.

Noisy spring rattle around inside even when tightened.
Springs inside rattle against metal tubes and make tons of noise. Can they not make a quiet version with a little baffling inside? The ones we replaced that were probably 20-years old weee silent, but new versions seem to be all cheap. We stuffed cotton balls inside. Not ideal.
