It works
I had Carpuride and it struggled to work in my car. Then it just stopped working. I was really surprise by its failure. I bought this one with low expectations. Right from the start it worked just like it said it would. My only problem is I still can not get the mirror function to work. I’m assuming it’s me. Another issue is how to keep it in place. The Carpuride was difficult to stay in place. I tried all the different stick on devices and they all failed. The resolution was to make something up with magnets and VELCRO. The new one same problem but it’s lighter and smaller allowing me to place it in a more suitable location. The weight of the monitor is supported by the dashboard or it’s light enough I can place it on a rotating magnet. My son has CarPlay built in and it’s a luxury but my portable monitor is a great substitute for the real thing. I give it two thumbs up for ease of use, reliability and price. Once I figure out the mirror function it will be the best item I’ve ever bought for a car.

Easy to set up, lots of features, excellent upgrade to my 2010 Nisaan
I recently purchased the wireless CarPlay and it’s been great upgrade for my car with no screen. The 7 inch screen is just perfect for my dash which is clear and bright that makes navigation and CarPlay apps easy to see while driving. Sound quality is awesome and works so well, I love it and easy to setup, would definitely recommend.

Impressive Product
The media could not be loaded. I have a pre market 2009 Mitsubishi and I have tried everything to get my car updated. The 1000 plus quoted prices are a no. And fm transmitters never work in my car they produce too much static.Wow wow wow is all I can say. Now I have my phone in my car. Sound quality is amazing, easy to set up, and turns on when I turn on my car.Waze is much better than Google maps and Pandora is integrated. There are some cons. It takes about 45 seconds to start post starting the car. Android Auto only works on start up but if you do not do that, it doesn't work until you turn the car off.Calling is not that great. The microphone is terrible and the person on the other end cannot hear you. But I did not buy this for that feature so I am fine.Overall it's a great way to update older cars and worth the investment.

Great Product
I have an old Prius that I love but unfortunately it doesn’t have CarPlay like the newer models. This device is really helpful! It makes my car feel new. My phone connects to it wirelessly and I’m able to play my favorite playlist while still being able to see Google Maps. Responsive touch screen and super easy to set up.

No Frills tech was worth the money but the mount, ugh.
I really wanted to use / like this product. It was not fancy but it was solving the problem of having to look down at the phone for navigation. I drive a 2011 Sienna and if you know that dash, there aren't any great option to mount anything. I was happy to see that there was a round plastic disc with an adhesive back that took up a small footprint that the "suction" cup would mount to. Unfortunately, although it looks like a suction cup, it's has a sticky substance on it and it doesn't flex like a suction cup. Because of this, it did not stick to the plastic disc. I tried mounting to the windshield, but no go. It's really unfortunately because the price was right and the tech was perfectly adequate. I had to send it back.

Update your car without changing your radio!
I have a very well kept 83 Ford Ranger. It still has the factory radio. I didn't want to cut the dash in order to install a modern head unit. And I wanted something with Android Auto. That's where this portable unit came in. I love that it can transmit audio on FM. It lets me use the stock radio and speakers to listen to music from my phone. I use blue tooth to connect to the unit and the unit connects to my radio with FM. It works surprisingly well. I've left it out in the car during summer heat and winter cold and so far it's been working great.

Ease of setup for Android Auto and mirrors my phone very well
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2019 Dodge Promaster van. It has a radio that allows Bluetooth pairing with my phone and I can make and answer calls through it, but it doesn't have a satellite radio option and doesn't support Waze or Google maps. I looked around for a simple screen-mirroring device that I could use with my Google Pixel phone and came upon the Spedal CL 786.It has a 7" screen, which is large enough and is a simple unit that doesn't possess a front-facing camera (I wouldn't want such a feature anyway). It connected with my phone very easily and I can use Waze or Google maps while simultaneously listening to satellite radio or making a receiving calls, with no connecting cable between my phone and the unit (which is something my more sophisticated Honda Accord radio unit can't do as it needs to connect with my phone via a cable in order for Android Auto features to work). The unit can be also connected via radio or by a 3.5mm cord which comes with the unit, but I don't need those features. The included power charger also has at its end a USB charging port for your phone, so you can run and power your phone and the unit from one "cigarette lighter"-type port. The only negative to the unit is the suction-cup attachment that come with it. It's not the best at gripping the dashboard, but as you can see from the video, I've set it up such that the front of the Spedal is resting on the dashboard, so it now stays in place. Also, as you can see from the video, I'm using the Waze driving app while listening to satellite radio, so, up to this point, the unit has pleased me.I've only been using the unit since July 15, 2024, and my current opinion may change as time goes by, but for now, its an easy-to-use device that does exactly what I want it to do. If you're in the market for a unit like this, I'd certainly recommend this one.
