Works great
Just what I wanted. I use it in an emergency during a power failure. Adjustable ringer volume is very good and needed. I can hear the caller and it is clear.

A wired extension phone for a good price
Good cheap princess phone. Large easy to see and read buttons. Several other features like volume boost and ringer silence.

Classic corded phone
If you live somewhere that cell signals don't carry well, and still maintain a landline, then you need a classic corded phone for times when the power goes out. This phone will work with just the power in the landline. Made by ATT, it is solid and worked immediately when plugged into the landline jack in my house. The sound quality is fine, the buttons are large and readable, the phone is a classic white "princess" design that can either sit on a counter or hang on a wall. At only $19.99 it is a very good value.

Good quality phone
I'm over 70 years old this phone is easy to connect up to my jack. I did put a DSL filter to the cord. It works really good - clear - easy to adjust the ringer . Glad I can also silence the phone from ringing but the top red button let's me know if there is an incoming call. Good price/fast delivery . Answering service comes in letting me know I have a message. Great phone

Stopped ringing
This is a terriable phone. I got it for my mother in a nursing home. It is only used for people to call in. The phone works, but the ringer stopped working. It only has a 30 day return window so it can't be returned for credit. I tried all the settings and could not get it to ring. Replaced it with a new ( less expencive ) phone and it works fine.As a follow-up, I will never purchase a AT&T produce again. It would cost $14 to send a $20 phone back to Texas. AT&T will not even talk to you (Customer Service) unless you have then as your phone provider. Their customer service purly coincidental.

soft ringer.
I got this to replace another phone because I couldn't hear the ring from another room. Sadly, this ring was also too soft. However, I do have 7 phones in the house and that might be the problem instead of the phone itself. I understand that when you have a lot of phones on the line, it cuts the sound down. The phone itself seems o.k.

Still reliable ATT Quality
My blind friend Robert gets along pretty well on his own, but he needs a sturdy, very basic phone. This is the best phone I can think of for people who are visually impaired. It has very big buttons, and it has nothing complicated on it. It's no longer made in the US by Western Electric, but it's still well-made.
