Far superior to the Anchor Hocking 4 cup measuring cup. It is a good size and shape -- not super wide and awkward like the other brand. Works perfectly. The spout is shallow but if poured slowly it works well -- no dripping. I first purchased the Anchor Hocking 4 cup measuring cup because it had slightly better reviews. It was a total disappointment. The Anchor Hocking had deformities on the handle sharp enough to cut the hand and there were also small indentations in the glass. Very pleased with this Pyrex measuring cup -- totally smooth and seamless.

Great standard measuring cup. Thick walls which make it more durable. Easy to clean with no tiny crevasses. The lines are easy to read.

This Pyrex cup is great for its intended use as a measuring cup, but I use it as a soup bowl. It is large enough to hold a can of soup (if homemade isn't available) without boiling over during microwaving. The stay-cool handle make it easy and safe to remove the hot food from the microwave.

I've never had a larger pyrex measuring cup before, and ordered this to make microwave peanut brittle, on the recommendation of a friend. Works perfectly for that, but I find I'm reaching for it quite often, because it's also the perfect little "mixing bowl" for a Jiffy mix or making a little bath of frosting. I've also used it to make Jello, and it's nice not to have to scrub the color out of my Tupperware mixing bowl.

I use it in the microwave all the time and the handle stays cool. I don't burn myself when getting food out of the microwave. It's very durable and is good for measuring and pouring liquids
