These are a life saver! They last us quite a while (multiple months and we have 2 cats). We never smell the genie and live in a small apartment where that would be noticeable. Replacing it was annoying the 1st time but once we figured it out, we got the hang of it. Easy to use and we love!

I love my litter genie and it has made litter box maintenance a breeze. I can’t usually smell anything coming from the bags and they have never ripped open before. I like the bigger bags so I don’t have to worry about running out for a while. The only complaint is that they are kind of expensive but they do have good performance.

The litter genie is the best thing that's ever happened to our cat ownership experience. They completely eliminate the smell and these refills last a very long time. We're still on the pack that came with it almost 6 months later. One cat. I was skeptical of the tying method, but it's not a big deal at all and you still don't smell anything!

For probably 8 years, I've been using litter genies. The only thing I don't like about them is changing the cartridge of refill bags. I have trouble pushing the tab back to remove the old cartridge and have to either use my thumbnail (not sanitary) or a screwdriver to do it). Plus, there's often waste after you use your last bag, because there's enough left in the cartridge for maybe 2/3 of a bag.So I was happy to learn they are now selling cartridges with a much bigger capacity. That means changing the cartridge less often, and also probably a bit less waste.When I opened the package, my heart sank a little. I was sure it would not fit in my litter genie (I use either the standard one or the "plus" model that is actually identical to the standard model but with a starter cartridge that has more refill bags).But it fit just fine. It works just like the smaller refill cartridge but it lasts way longer. I am going to buy this size from now on, if only so I don't have to replace the cartridge so often.
