Good for non-standard sizes.
Purchased as a replacement for the older version. The variety of fittings and the ability to move the hose between them is useful.

Good hose for dust extractor
Good product. Like the feature of expanding and collapsing hose. When not not in use takes less space but when attched to tool expands good distance. I have work table sized 4x8 and can reach anywhere without issue. Not sure if it is the hose or what but it builds a static energy, I will need to look for way to help reduce or eliminate this. Just need to get more individual end connectors for my other tools. The included and available connectors are for smaller dust ports, like handheld power tools with ports smaller than shop-vac but that is expected. For larger ports you need dust collector this is more for dust extractors. I'm using this with diy cyclon bucket made out of 2 5gal buckets and couple pvc elbows and shop-vac.

Perfect for dust collection. This hose is flexible and grows in length when you need it to. Easy way to change between tools

Great product for the shop
I love the hose, it is recractable which makes it so convenient in the shop to stow away. The connectors are great fit nicely as expected.

Needs a second click-connect hose adapter
Good product BUT,Disconnecting is a bit more difficult than it should be.As it comes, one side needs to be connected to a 2-1/2” port or hose. It is not possible to use it with a battery powered vac (typical 1-1/2 hose) and a sander. While it comes with different sized port connectors, only one 1 can be used at a time due to a single hose adapter. Buying a second adds $8 to the price plus another $8 shipping.

Don't order this if your shop vac is Rigid or Craftsman
This product description says it works with "most shop vacs." I don't know what they include in "most," but I can tell you with certainty that it doesn't work with Rigid or Craftsman shop vacs. The hose connector on those shop vacs is 2 1/4" OD so the adapter in this kit needs to be 2 1/4" ID. The adapter in this kit is 2 1/4" OD and only 2" ID so it does not fit!
