I had low expectations of these since they are all natural. I expected them to get stinky or mildewy fast. I was very wrong! These have lasted just as long as my usual brand or longer! They dry out fast which seems to keep them clean. The natural fibers of the scrubbing side are effective but gentle enough on non stick cookware. I think this will be my brand from now on!

I just opened the 12 pack and started using for the first day and it split like in the picture. Very disappointed on the quality of these sponges!!

So a few pros and cons about this pack of sponges:PROS:- You get a lot of sponges for a reasonable price- They say they're all-natural (I didn't test them, but it could be true - at least the scrub part anyway)- The sponge and scrubber work about as well as your typical sponge and sponge-scrubberCONS:- The scrubber is not connected to the sponge very well and usually falls off on the first or second use- The blue sponges do not have scrubbers. This is included in the description, but you should know that you're not getting all sponges with scrubbers somewhat-attached.So here's the thing... if you don't care if your scrubber detaches and you're ok with using it separately, then this is a great pack of sponges. It annoyed me at first when the scrubber fell off, but now I just use them separately. Not ideal, and not what I thought I was ordering, but it gets the job done just the same.

This pack of sponges is a great deal. They're well made, one side is rough for scrubbing, and they hold up well to vigorous use. Definitely a good buy. Reasonably priced.

First and foremost it's worth pointing out that this is a phenomenal value - getting this many sponges in a pack? Whew. The sponges themselves are actual, regular feeling/sized/etc. sponges too!The issue for me, however is the "biodegradable" scrubby part of the sponges take some getting used to if you're used to regular sponges. A) it's a little stiffer than the regular scrubby part of sponges, even after getting wet with hot water, and B) they don't seem to be attached very well. The scrubby part of the first sponge I used from this pack fell off after a few uses.I'd still highly recommend this set because of the value you're getting. However, if the scrubby part being stiff and/or falling off the sponge is a deal breaker for you, then maybe these aren't for you.

These Mektler Natural Kitchen Sponges come in total 12 pieces inside: 4 Blue Sponges, 4 White Sponges and 4 Yellow Sponges. The Blue Sponge doesn't have scrub layer, while both White Sponge and Yellow Sponge have the scrub layer. I soaked the White Sponge and Yellow Sponge with faucet water, with my personal feeling, the Yellow Sponge's scrub layer is harder than White Sponge's scrub layer. I think the Yellow Sponge is designed to be used for cleaning the tough areas. So to me, this set provides 3 different types of sponges: Blue is for gentle cleaning, White is for general cleaning, and Yellow is for tough cleaning.I tried the White Sponge just now and washed a few dishes by hand. The sponge works well, the scrub layer does a good job getting the sticky food stain off my porcelain plate. I plan to use the Yellow Sponge to wash all my cooking pans and the Blue Sponge to wash all the glasswares.Overall, I am happy with these sponges.

They fall apart.

Sponges are one of those items that I generally didn't think that it made any difference in which sponge, they all do the same thing. I like that this is "natural" but only the scrub part seems to be natural and the absorbent part seems to be like any other sponge. The scrubbing part is very stiff, so you can't wring it out naturally or how you would squeeze a sponge in your hand. Yes, it is non scratch, but the negative part of that is it takes a lot of effort to scrub stuck-on food because of this. It basically slides across the surface leaving the food on the plate. Finally, when left out to dry, the bottom portion shrinks noticeably smaller than the scrub part, so it will have to be constantly wet to use which will eventually grow bacteria and mildew. So if these things don't bother you, it is definitely a lot of value for the money, but not for me.
