Drum Sticks 5A Wood Tip Drumstick (2 Pair Oak)

Niece made some comment about me telling my grand niece not to do something, and she was sure I had no idea how to deal with children. (I went through the same stuff with both her and her sister when they were young. So when my grand niece wanted to learn the drums and her mother thought the piano was a better choice.. I bought a set of sticks and a practice pad for her... She loves it, spends time practicing and building up stamina... Her mother has been less enthused about it... Win Win, now I am thinking a snare drum for her birthday.. :)

Having played on Vic Firth 5B sticks for a good deal, these sticks felt really light. They're good for playing fast, and can withstand quite a beating, despite feeling like they might snap. I usually play heavier stuff on the drums, and abuse my sticks with poor technique, but these sticks stood the test. Great sticks for the budget drummer.

I specifically got these to try out some cheaper oak sticks, but after playing them for one church service, they are already extremely dented and starting to fray. They are also extremely light. Other oak sticks I've used have never been that light.

so let me start out by saying that I am not only an intermediate drummer but also a professional woodworker....that is important to know because I know my oaks very well... that being said don't believe these sticks to be oak based on the weight.... tho the grain sort of resembles oak they are definitely too light weight which is a bummer because I bought them to try heavier sticks while not gaining diameter.... my hickory 5A's are significantly heavier and shouldn't be...these sticks are also out of true , meaning they are not straight. I cannot roll the across a table....they are definitely not worth it if you are looking to try out oak sticks for the reason I am.... since they were cheap enough, I will give them to my 5yr old to play with on his jr. drum set, and I will order proper sticks from a reputable manufacturer to try for myself....

These sticks only lasted about one month of use. I wish they were stronger. I do plan to repurchase them

Great for any musician! I bought them for my son and I noticed that they were way better quality than I expected. They're great for anyone who plays the drums.

I go thru alot of drum sticks but these are very well made & haven't broken a pair yet after 2 months & they're still in as good of shape as the day I got um!
