Don't bother. Doesn't work
Was hoping it would work but it won't stitch. It'll just stab the fabric and thread won't make a stitch. I've verified that it's threaded properly, that the tension isn't too high, that the needle is straight and fabric is under the fastening plate. The "instructions" are confusing at best. Very cheaply built. Upset i wasted my money on this.

Pretty good when you’re in a jam

No instructions, bad quality
Waste of money, broke when I was trying to figure out how to put it together since it didn’t come with instructions. Very bad quality

More of a tinkerer's sewing device, but it could function if even pressure is applied.
If absolutely desperate, it will work, but the frame has too much bending to keep it consistent. I had to 3D Print an adaptor to keep the thread from catching on other internals. Creates an easy-to-remove chainstitch unless you do a pull-through on the final stitch. Once the pull-through is done, the stitch is locked. It does NOT use standard sewing needles on it. It can be modified to support standard needles.

Works good on lighter materials.
Works fine on regular material, but has a hard time with thicker items such as a coat. Was easy to use but ultimately didn't work as we were hoping. (to repair a zipper on a winter jacket)

Nice little workhorse!
This thing comes with a beefy needle, I actually bought it because my Singer Classic was tripping up on some Dacron thread I was trying to sew a heat shield blanket with. This thing sewed right through two layers of aluminum / fiberglass cloth using heavy Dacron thread, no problem! 10$ to get the job done rather than spending hundreds on a heavy duty sewing machine.

Trash!
This thing is terrible! It does not work as advertised at all.

Broken
It broke the first time my husband tried to use it. Does not operate as described.
