Septic systems are designed to manage themselves. The naturally occurring bacteria in the septic tank break down and eliminate the wastes. For the most part, these naturally occurring bacteria keep the tank maintained under 100% ideal conditions. But as families grow, more wastes are added to the tank than it was originally designed to handle. In addition the wide range of household cleaners, bleach, anti-bacterial soaps, etc., kill these natural bacteria. As a result, our beneficial bacteria need to be introduced back into the septic system, to handle the increased family wastes and replace the bacteria that are killed off by the industry standard household cleaners. Our natural product is much more efficient at removing septic wastes than the indigenous bacteria that are naturally occurring in septic tanks. In addition, our bacteria can withstand harsher environmental conditions that would normally kill natural septic tank bacteria (such as temperature changes, pH changes and changing dissolved oxygen levels). Household wastes can also clog drain lines in your home. As these wastes continue to build up over time, they slowly constrict the drains. The result is odors, slow-flowing drains, and eventually clogged drains and/or septic system back-ups. These problems can be prevented with regular use of this product. To treat the septic tank and drain lines at the same time, simply mix 1 scoop with 1 gallon of warm water, stir well, and pour 8-16 fluid ounces down every household floor drain, sink drain, shower drain and garbage disposal.
