yes it can as long as you specify which phone,

Not during use. I'll tell you this, the case was the best investment I made.

Do the sides of the case provide a good grip?

pretty good, the case makes the entire thing thicker and easier to hold on to. the back of the case is still slippery though

Is it compatible with original glass OnePlus 5t screen protector?

Yes It worked fine with the original pre-installed screen protector. It also works fine with the tempered glass screen protector that I got through Oneplus from the early bird special sale.
