BONAI Smart Battery Charger
I recently picked up the **BONAI Smart Battery Charger** for AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V rechargeable batteries, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The **discharge function** is one of the standout features—it's so convenient for refreshing old or partially used batteries before recharging them. This ensures the batteries get a full charge and last longer, which is a big win for me.The **LCD display** is incredibly useful—it clearly shows the charging status for each individual battery, so I always know exactly where each one stands in the charging process. Whether it's charging, discharging, or fully charged, the display is easy to read and gives me peace of mind knowing my batteries are in good hands. The **fast charging** capability is another great feature. It charges my batteries much quicker than I expected, without overheating them. Plus, the charger works for a variety of battery sizes (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V), making it super versatile and perfect for all my devices, from remote controls to power tools.Overall, the **BONAI Smart Battery Charger** is a solid, reliable choice for anyone who uses a lot of rechargeable batteries. It’s efficient, user-friendly, and helps save money in the long run by extending the life of your batteries. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get the most out of their rechargeable batteries!

Works even off a solar panel
So I bought this to charge different types of batteries such as AAA, AA and D-cell. I have done both the AAA and the AA but as of yet have not done the D-cell. However I can gather that it will most likely work with the D-cell as well. I have used this with a small 21 watt solar panel and it worked no problem. I love that you can use either USB-C or a Micro USB cord with it so it is pretty flexible in that way "sorry apple people it won't work with a lightning cable" As for the discharge function I played with it on AAA batteries and it seems to take a pretty long time to do a full discharge and then a full recharge. It is very lightweight but appears to be decently sturdy only thing is I wish the lid had some sort of latch on it. I have no plans to use this to charge 9-volt batteries and it states that when you are charging 9-volt batteries there is no LCD display to show the charge level, only a little LED light that shows the 9-volt battery is either currently charging or finished with charging, also the discharge function won't work with 9-volt either, but in this price point it is one of the few chargers that has the feature to even charge the 9-volt batteries so I don't see a problem with that at all. NOTE: it does not come with a power supply only the unit and a USB cable. It will work out of pretty much any USB port; however in the instructions it mentioned using a 2 amp power supply but my solar panel only put out 1.2 amps and it still worked. So I would say buy this if you need a basic charger that can work both at home and off grid with a simple solar panel.

Bought this for charging 9v batteries and tried the AA and AAA too!
Got this just so that I can charge my 9V batteries. However, this works well too! I have another gigantic heavy weight charger which charges 8 batteries at a time (and much faster, but it's also much more expensiv - close to $100), so there's really no comparison. This has a discharge function which I didn't know about and hasn't explored. I'd be sure to read up about it some time.I like this for the function (it works and shows differently when it's fully charges, Led light and another light) and for the price range, this is pretty nifty! 😍One more great thing about it is it's dual voltage! Way cool and I would love for all appliances to be dual voltage for ease of traveling and using in other countries.

Discharge feature and cord options are best in class
This BONAI battery charger is so much better than the five or six others I have owned that I'm going to buy more as gifts. The feature that allows me to discharge batteries if I want is pure gold, and unexpected. I have many sets of rechargeable batteries, some older, some newer, and some receive or hold a charge better than others, so mine is the constant problem of extracting two or more batteries out of a game controller or flashlight to learn later that only one of the batteries was dead and that I'm reducing the life of the others by charging them too early. Therefore I really like this charger's discharge feature, which allows me to put four batteries in, push the discharge button, and have the unit automatically discharge any that need it, and then automatically charge them all without me having to change the unit from discharge to charge mode. I really like that.Another thing I really like about this charger is the cord options. It has a microUSB port and one of those oval shaped ports that fits my Android phone. (Yeah, call me a Boomer, youngsters, but live long enough to remember parallel ports and all the connectors produced from then till now, and THEN whine at me about remembering every dang blasted name of every new connector that comes along.) The point is that unlike other chargers I've had, such as the EverReady device I replaced with this model because I COULDN'T FIND ITS DANG PROPRIETARY TRANSFORMER, this charger thankfully not only doesn't necessarily need a transformer, but it can use the same cords that charge my phone, my camera, my wifi speakers, my headset. Since it allows me to use a USB cord, it'll even plug into my car during a camping trip. That is a thing of beauty.I also like that this charger has a lid. Keeping dust out of the spring tracks in the charging bay is smart. Finally, the LCD display is intuitive. I can understand whether the unit is discharging or charging, and how much charge each battery has. I can also clearly understand when the charging is complete. As an experience manager for a corporation with a sizeable web presence, I can really appreciate an intuitive interface. This charger is such a pleasure to use that I discharged/charged probably 20 batteries in 3 days just because this product makes the process easy rather than the regular pain it has traditionally been.
