cheap as chips and what's not to like?
This is a great value starter set of this revolutionary new paint. I loved them so much I went on to purchase some full sized tubes and some mediums. I am a watercolour artist and have also used gouache extensively. I have allergy issues with oil paint ( sob sob ) but have never been able to get along with acrylics - yuck! This paint is different!1. It does not have a cheap plastic shine to it like regular acrylics2. It wets up and blends with water just like WC or gouache3. No fumes4. Works well on Wc paper or gesso board or canvas.5. Very versatile. Can be used in thin watercolour like washes right up to bold oil techniques.So far I have found no real use for any of the mediums. Save your money and buy some more lovely colours instead!

Brilliant colours
Mine came in plastic box, these paints are a delight to use. It is worth viewing the various videos online to find out all the things they can do, and how. These are not ordinary acrylic paints!

Excellent paints. Really good at blending and the texture is somewhat creamy, meaning it will spread nicely compared to other acrylics. Definitely worth spending your money on.

Frustration wasn't worth the discount.
I can't complain too much because these paints are pretty cheap in price, but looking back i probably should have just paid more for better paints. Sure, the paints were a nice thick consistency, but i was very disappointed and frustrated with the colours. They weren't very strong at all, and I found myself having to go over and repaint alot of places where little white marks were left on the canvas. Oddly enough, when some of the black or white were mixed with the colours, it had much better coverage, but just straight up colour was beyond frustrating and did not look very good. Maybe it does better on paper or something, but on canvas it falls flat.

These acrylics are brilliant and revolutionary as they stay workable. Very difficult to source in 'grown-up' sizes so nice to be able to get basic colours in small quantities.
