Awesome Tool For The Money
I received this tool on Friday and was ready to use it the same day and it worked great. The tool itself is very heavy duty and a good quality tool. The plastic case that the insulated ferrule crimp pins came in is very sturdy and small. Due to its size, it is packed and the smallest bump, and the crimp pins go everywhere. They could have provided a larger case. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Would buy again, great quality
We purchased this set of connectors to go in our RV tool box, definitely have enough of them, and I like how they put it in the little tray with individual slots. Would definitely buy again

Work great under set screw mounting
Kind of wish I bought these a long time ago. These work great when your installing stranded wire ends into a connector with set screws, especially fine stranded wire. These ferrules will allow current to conduct on all wire strands under the set screw, reducing the heating (and possible failure point) caused by the I2R losses. I've already used up about 30 of these of varying AWGs, including a couple different double wire terminals.

I just discovered ferules as an alternative to putting stripped wires into misc. devices. This kit has a great selection and the crimps for two wires are a time saver. Would by again.

Ferrules for stranded wire connections
When dealing with stranded wire, getting a good connection when screwing down on the wire can be a bit sloppy. The ferrules (of many different sizes) allow you to basically bind the wire strands within a metal tube for a clean solid contact.

Only kit that includes double ferrules
At the time of my review, this was the only ferrule kit I could find that included the double ferrules. If you're working on the type of projects that benefit from ferrules (Industrial controls, CNC, PLC, hobby electronics, etc.) there's a good chance you'll need to land two wire on one screw terminal. I like to use the double ferrules for making short jumpers on stepper motor controls. Sure you could cram two wires into a regular ferrule, but why not do it right? The kit is nicely organized. The color coding for the regular ferrules matches the double ferrules-- it's quick and easy to grab the right size.
