I purchased a like-new laptop from someone online and a few days later the screen would not turn on, or if it did turn on would show me a "time not set" error message and prompted me to set the date/time in my BIOS. All this really meant was my CMOS battery was dying/dead and real time was not being kept by the laptop. I ordered this battery and followed manufacturer steps on how to disassemble my laptop enough to access the CMOS battery location, It was a direct fit and now my laptop works as intended. I did a simple amazon search with my laptop model name and this battery came up, it was the cheapest with the quickest shipping time and offered free returns (prime item). I couldn't have been happier with the repair. Highly recommend this seller and this product if this is the same cell you need for your laptop.

This battery is advertised as a 3 Volts but it only has 2.61 Volts upon arrival. Deceiving.The original battery that I am replacing has 2.6 volts but the laptop has good 5 years or more of use, doesn’t make sense to replace with this supposedly “new” battery and doesn’t make sense why the sellers advertise something as 3 Volts if it only has 2.61 volts. Very disappointing. I don’t recommend.

I measured voltage is 2.6 Volts not 3 volts . I returned.
