I bought this in the double size for camping with my family. We have not had the chance to go yet but we did have an overnight field trip at the Kennedy Space Center and I knew we would have to carry everything a long ways. We tried it out twice at home before the field trip and I really appreciated how easy and fast it was to deflate and repack by myself. I am an older and heavier mom and I was totally comfortable all night on it. It feels really firm when you lay on it, which I'm sure you could adjust with how much you inflate it, but I didn't want to worry about it deflating during the night so I inflated it was much as it seemed it would go. I sleep on a 3" memory foam topper at home so I didn't think I'd be comfortable on it but I was. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and there was plenty of room even with my 9 year old sleeping next to me. It was also not really noisy at all. I saw some other reviews say it was so I was worried about that, but it wasn't much and only when you were first getting on it. The only thing I feel could be improved on is the inflation device. It took a while to inflate as I have the double size. But even them, not needing a separate compressor makes it worth the little bit of time it takes. Overall, a worthwhile investment for overnight trips, camping or even extra guests.

Pleasantly surprised by this full size pad. I was debating between an air mattress and this pad for a multi day camping trip where we moved locations several times and I’m so glad I chose this pad instead. I’ve set up and broken this down 10+ times now and I’m fully satisfied. Compared to an air mattress it is: - Lightweight (~ 9 lbs) - Easy to inflate with the foot pad if you don’t have batteries or a power source - Firm & comfortable, not noisy if you tend to move around in your sleep - Much easier to deflate and roll back up into the cover (like how you roll up a sleeping bag) - Good overall value for the price Some guidance around setup/breakdown: - I inflated it at home at first to “stretch it” before taking it in the road and it performed very well with the weight of 2 adults (~ 320 lbs). You may need to reinflate a bit if you’re sleeping >2 nights. - If you do inflate during the day and it cools significantly at night you may need to reinflate a bit. - Be aware of where you’re placing your foot if you’re using the foot inflation press. I found it best to place my foot on a slight angle horizontally across the press using a rhythmic pressing motion, ensuring the hole on the press is opening and closing and you hear air going through inflating the pad - Be sure to close the plug at the top of the pad, where the pillow portion will inflate, and open it when you want to deflate, along with the plug on the foot press. Be sure they are both completely closed to ensure no leaks. - You can use the plug at the top of the pad to speed up inflation/deflation with a battery powered inflation device - Ensure all air is out of the pad when breaking down. Fold up the pad in fourths, then in half and roll firmly starting from the pillow to the foot pad, like you would a sleeping bag. The included elastic band helps keep the pad rolled up while you shift it into the bag.

I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews this product got, but was so pleased with how comfortable and easy this mattress was to sleep on and inflate/take down. Some people complained of the noise that it made while sleeping, however I did not experience any noise during the night. We did pump it up pretty firm and also put a sheet on top so maybe that is why. I did pack pillows because I wasn’t too sure how supportive the inserted pillows were going to be(I am happy that I did because I do like a little more support than the pillows that were on the mat). Overall, it took less than 5 minutes to completely inflate (like I said we inflated it very firm), did not lose any air overnight, and was more compact than any mat I have had to pack before. I would prefer this over an air mattress any day!

This little mattress has transformed my sleep on camping trips. In the past year my husband and I have taken several lengthy road trips primarily tent camping and this mattress has stood up very well. It is light weight, easy to pack, deflate, and store. It inflates to a comfortable double sleeping mattress. My days of rolling off of a small thin sleeping pad are gone! A few considerations, your tent has to be large enough to accommodate it,(ours is 8x8) and it takes 10-12 minutes to inflate it with the built in foot pump. Worth every penny.

I had to modify it right out of the pack just to make the foot pump work properly or it would have been 5 stars . the gap on the sponge around the port was misaligned and wouldn't let the flap open to take in air effectively. I had to cut away some of the sponge worried if I were to accidentally puncture it. but after I cleared most of it, it worked perfectly and I can inflate it in less than 3 minutes.
