Perfect for threading and versatile as a spotlight for closeup tasks.
My eyesight is a problem now - from reading a street map to threading a needle. I had tried 2 needle threaders and was unable to make use of them. I was about ready to order another needle threader that boasted a light until I read some reviews; so, I gave up the idea of a needle threader and decided a different tack---a magnifier that can stand and has a light. Tried it out this morning. PERFECT! I was able to see the needle and thread clearly, making threading effortless.The next task was sewing a dark material with dark thread. I was able to see what I was doing by using the backside of the magnifier as a spotlight. VERSATILE!I have ordered several more units.

Does the job
Use this when making jewelry. The 30% magnification and light work great. Perfect for my needsThe 40% magnification is useless!

Very usable prudent.
I do like this product. It does what it is designed to do. Very helpful to my senior eyes. The only downside is where the light button is located. It will turn on when you grab the handle to use. I'm having to shut it off a lot. It still us a good product, it just may need a new handle design

Perfect for my needs
Works great. I use it for ripping seams and minor jewelry repairs. The light could be a little brighter but I'm happy with it overall.

Folding lense breaks easily.
I've had this for I guess a few weeks now and it broke. The light and magnifying glasses were cool but the swivel neck where it bends snapped off. You have to be extra careful not to have the stand up when you try to fold the lense down, that's what happens. I guess you get what you pay for.

Great magnifying glass with light
I bought it for my husband. He loves it to do small exacting things. He needs the magnifying glass along with the light. It is very useful for the both of us.
