Decent Tarp
Correct size, great quality and great price. Tie out lines and stakes were all present and accounted for and light enough to not worry about bringing along for a typical weekend hike. Material does not wet out under rainy conditions. I don't think I could make one and beat this price. Have not had it out in the wind much yet, but feels durable and the length covers my hammock setup on both the diagonal (with seam on the ridgeline) as well as straight on if I want more coverage on the sides. I guess it will depend on how I decide to set up in relation to where I expect the most wind from.

Keeps you and dry and out of the way of leaves and light branches falling
Easy to put up and kept me dry all night long, I would have been soaked from the dew falling from the trees if I didn't have it. It was sleek, good quality, and at a great price point. I will always have this packed for hammock camping here on out.

Not a cheap tarp!
1 Year Update: Just keeps getting better. I used this a handful of times in some pretty insane rain and never got a drop on me, the wind also barely moved it. This thing is tough and waterproof 100%. What good is a lighter weight rainfly if its tissue paper? This thing is a beast and I will be getting another, awesome product. Upon set up I was surprised to see quality stitching in the corners and through the seams of the tarp. Each angle and cut was clean and precise which you don't always get budget gear. The stakes were light and strong and the included cordage was reflective which was an awesome touch! I bought a roll thinking I'd have to change it but I was surprised to see it came with it. Everything functioned perfect and I was able to set it all up pretied for quicker deployment and stuff it back in the bag. That being said the stuff sack is just a hair to small when you roll this up and let's be honest you won't get it perfect when it's raining or your rushing but overall it's not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend as it has great coverage and the included accessories were thought about and not some cheap knock offs. Great product! Excited to buy another for my second hammock

Great for camping
The first couple times I used this rainfly it was during some dryer nights, though it kept the condensation off. One night it rained hard throughout the entire night and it kept me dry the whole time. I have taken it on backpacking trips, and the weight is a bit more than I'd like, weighing in at 2.25 lbs. I did replace the stakes with some better tent stakes which worked out much better than what it came with. Overall it's good at its job, and great for camping, but a bit heavy for backpacking.

Good as standalone
The Pro Venture Waterproof Hammock Rain Fly is light weight, yet waterproof, and keeps the rain off. If you want the perfect fit, it's probably best to get a tarp specially designed for a specific hammock, ideally as a set -- a hammock/tarp/mosquito net unit. This is a standalone item, so you may need to spend a little more time to set it up just right. That said, for a standalone it works well. Seems durable and hard to tear. I have no qualms about recommending it. In fact, this item is versatile enough to use with a small tent, maybe even as a ground sheet in a pinch. Pegs are included. Pegs are not the way I'd want to go as it brings things closer to the ground than I care to be, but there are also ropes included you can tie the fly to trees and branches. Again, finding the right way and place to set up both hammock and tarp will take a bit more time and effort. Plus you may have to get a little creative. But if you need versatility, this is a good quality item.

Nice rain fly: kept me dry and nice extras
First night out had a good rain and this kept me dry. Set up was smooth. Comes with functional and easy to use stakes and 6 tie downs. Has nice extras like cord in the stakes for quick pull up and tensioners already on the tie downs for fast snugging. Seams are well stitched and grommets secure. I don't recall directions being included but if you've figured out putting up your hammock this won't be a problem. Bring extra rope if you want a ridgeline. I ran a line from tree to tree, draped the rain fly over it then tied the rope ends to the ridge grommets. Kept it secure and tight. I see others have done without the ridge line with success too. Very pleased with the quality and price. Would buy again.

Great rain fly!
High quality rain fly that worked perfectly for my recent trip. Stayed dry and blocked the wind for my hammock setup.

Pleasantly surprised!
I can’t speak to its longevity because I haven’t had it long. However I have tested it out for several days, which included a thunderstorm. No leaks so far! I have a portable hammock stand it fits nicely on. Definitely not suitable for winter camping but the coverage is decent. It’s pretty lightweight. I don’t backpack, I car camp, but I hate heavy cumbersome tarps. The grommets and stitching seem very sturdy. The included stakes aren’t my favorite, they are a little awkward to handle because of the ridges, and the notches for the guy lines aren’t very deep. But they’ve held fine. It’s got drawstring bags to store the stakes and the tarp separately. For the price point I'm very satisfied. If something changes I’ll update this review but so far I’m happy with it!

Looks great, set-up was easy. It is exactly as described. I like that it comes with high quality stakes and adjustable guy lines. Shipping was a pain in the ass though… if your product is shipped by “Pitney Bowes” expect it to come a week late. Amazon seller had it shipped out quickly though.
