Whole Series Review (except books 1, 2, 9, 10, 11)
Book 3 was the book I started at, surprisingly because of school. I never would've known about this excellent series if not for one book in a black bin that caught my attention. So i reluctantly started reading, expecting the worst. What I got was one of the best books I'd read at the time. That was a few weeks after I got my Kindle Paperwhite, so I asked my mom to pick up book 4 for me. That set me on the wild ride that was this series. Book 3 was the rescue of Ezylryb from the Devil's Triangle. Book 6 was a great war brewing. Then I started on book 7, and it seemed bad at first, but after a quick reread I realized something. Nyroc spelled backwards is Coryn. Coryn was mentioned inthe description of book 12. And I had a completely different viewpoint of the series as a whole since then. Book 13 marks the point where Ezylryb, formerly Lyze of Kiel, dies. And this is a perfect segue to my next point. Things that I found either annoying, cool, or dumb. First is things I found annoying. 1. Around book 8 I realized that Glaux is a synonym with God. So after that, I just kinda found it spammed in my face and annoying. 2. When Striga first becomes a baddie, he overuses the word 'vanity'. After a while, it fell victim to the same trap that Glaux did. On to the things I found dumb! 1, 2, and 3. So much unexplained stuff is left like that. There was Ginger's appearance and subsequent disappearance, how Ezylryb died, and how the battle of book 6 played out. Last, the awesome stuff. 1. Owl cuss words! I can finally swear without being grounded! Yes! 2. Twilight has at least one rap in almost every book. I even copied some down and recited them at recess in school. 3. THE ENTIRE SERIES! This series really absorbed me. I didn't sleep until I finished a book, and for book 15 I drew it out to one third a night so the ending would be a surprise. Overall, the series rating I give it is 11/10, exceeds al my standards with flying colors. I might even write some cringy fanfic about this series.

Acceptable
The only damage was on the cover of the book, a large gnarly scrape and a dent that ran along both covers. Other than that the book appears as if it were brand new and came at a reasonable price

Damaged
From the outside, the book was in perfect condition. I bought it with the rest of the series, and slowly worked my way through the series. I finally got to this one, and was reading it, when I noticed that something was wrong, so I looked down at the page number, only to discover that someone had ripped out 8 whole pages before it got to me. The book is useless in this condition! Honestly, what kind of barbarian would destroy a book like this?!

Quite the page turner
As a sequel to the previous Guardians of Ga'hoole, this is a pretty emotional way to end off the series. The tears that War of the Ember drew out from me are happy and sad at the same time. One of the very best books I've ever read, by far.

A Wonderful Adventure
One of the very best series I have ever read. Captivating and leaving you wanting more and more. Really did not want it to end. The author truly brings the characters to life and wrap you up in the story.

Superb
I can't tell you how much I loved this book. I have read the entire series and I love this book to death. It is a very great ending to such a noble and fine series. If you have not read some other books in the series yet I suggest that you read at least a couple other books before you read this one in order to fully enjoy and understand the book.

The End
This was an extraordinary book! I have read all the books. It was very humorous as well, the funniest character, definitely Dumpy. Even though it is one of the best books of the Guardians of Ga'hoole, the last one was very sad. Once you start reading The Hatchling, you will get to love Coryn, which only makes the last book something to cry about. I know that people say guys don't cry, I surely did at the end of the book.

Great series of books
My daughter started with the firdt of the books at school and was captivated by the storyline and the ease of which it read. We have bought the whole series over time and she managed to read through 15 books in about 30 days...not bad for a kid who used to take many days to read just one. Strongly recomended.
