PlantinAcacia Honey with Black Truffles, 3.5-Ounce Jars

This was the first truffle product I ever bought some years ago, and to this day it is my favorite. When my first order arrived it nearly knocked me over, even beore opening the box, in which the jar was wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. My most recent purchase did not smell as intense, but still tastes awesome. Honey seems to preserve and deliver the taste and smell of truffles better than other vehicles, and this particular one is far superior to the others I have tried. Excellent on cheese, chicken, English muffins, actually everything I’ve tried it on. Surprisingly, it even tastes good on salmon - truffle salt also works; if you really want a truffle rush use both the honey and the salt. Wow.

Unfortunately this product did not meet my expectations. When the jar was opened the aroma was not pleasantly earthy. The consistency of honey was more like thin pancake syrup.
