It works really good just be sure to follow the instructions.
I am impressed. If you follow the rules exactly as stated it works great. It heated about 3 gallons of water to over 120 degrees in about 20 mins or less. As you can see in the attached photo its bubbling as it heats the water like its supposed to. When I unplugged it their was a nice bit of steam rising from the water. I used it in my travel trailer kitchen sink (have a propane leak so water heater is out of order). It sure was a lot easier to fill my sink and heat water this way rather than in a pot on an electric burner which usually takes a couple of pots to get enough hot water for dishes. Its definitely a good product for the price. Made my life a little less complicated.

Hot Spring on a cord!
Picture this your disabled and your water heater intake line breaks.now 6 inches of water covers your basement floor putting out the pilot light of the water heater. you get the inlet line shut off so you still have cold water in the house. cold showers are not fun. and for a disabled person with a heart issue they could be deadly. So I start looking for a temp fix and search my camping supply's and find a portable camp shower, now I need a hot water source. the old crock pot was really slow and did not give me the amount of water to take a full shower. Then I fine this Immersion Water Heater, 2000W Portable Electric Instant Bucket Heater on Amazon. the price was very nice and with prime I got it the next day. well this was the winning play in the hot shower game. This thing heats up 5 gal of water in a quick time which gives me 10 gal of perfect temp hot water when using a mixer bucket. wish I had one of these years ago

DANGEROUS
The media could not be loaded. Worked fine did it’s job we were able to heat up multiple bathtubs the only problem is when we tried to unplug it, it was stuck! I kept pulling until finally I grabbed a flat head and tried to wedge it apart, come to find out the dam thing is melted together! The extension cord was fine as you can see in the video the one that’s melted is the black cord attached to the water heater. We got lucky we didn’t use it just one more time, it could have caused an electrical fire! Returning ASAP

Heating speed is less that advertized.
The heater does heat but not at the rate that is advertised.

Get it!
Used this for a blow up bath. Worked great. Not as hot as I’d like, but it would work great for someone who isn’t as picky! Very safe too.

This saves my back
My hot water tank went out. Life is too expensive for me to get it replaced right now. I’m not a fan of cold showers. I’ve been hearing 3 gallons of water for my 5 gallon bucket I’m using with my camping shower. Carrying 3 gallons of boiling hot water from my kitchen to my bathroom about killed my back, not to mention the worry of accidentally spilling boiling hot water all over myself hasn’t been fun. I finally found this & it is a game changer. It heats up the water right in the bucket & only takes about 20 minutes vs an hour or more to boil water on the stovetop. It has saved my back & gets the water as hot as I want it. I’ll be taking it camping with me as well for hot showers in nature.
