The Makayuron Amazon store is atrocious. I am uncertain if it's an Amazon platform design issue, or whoever set up the links and product descriptions to the products was wholey incompetent. You cannot trust "Buy It Again". You are sent to an unrelated product, no matter what you initially purchased. This comment was for a historic WiFi only smart plug, but I am actually trying to comment on a recently purchased set of Matter enabled smart plugs. The fact the historic comment loaded instead, further supports my initial claim. This is the second time I've fallen for this "scam". My first smart plug purchase was for a WiFi/Bluetooth smart plug, I loved the product, so clicked "Buy Again" but was shipped a less capable model. I originally put this down to user error but the fact it's happened again, with the same store, confirms to me it is not a coincidence. The biggest irony is that I actually do rate their smart plugs, when they send the CORRECT model! I wouldn't usually attribute malice where incompetence is the probable root cause but I do now wonder if their near identical product descriptions and photos are by design, since many less tech savvy customers will not notice the difference. The Matter and non-Matter plugs were identical in price, which is what you expect with "Buy It Again". So something is definitely wrong with this store. Historic comment was 2 stars, now downgraded to 1.
