Update:After only 4 emails (2 each way) , the company volunteered a replacement. I had the new one a week later. Since then I have used it multiple times. Again I mostly use this to make the dough (setting 12) but i also made one baked loaf just to make sure it worked. I am very pleased by the quick no-hassle response. I thought this was a fine machine before, now I am also impressed by how the company backed its warranty.Original review:Eight months after I brought it, this thing started smoking. And making a grinding sound as it attempted to keep kneading. Up until then, I used it once every couple of weeks to make the dough which I then baked in the oven. (I let the breadmaker bake it twice, did a nice job but I don't like the shape.). I was happy with it. But now, just guessing but I feel that if I hadn't been at home to turn it off, the burning might have turned something serious. I thought maybe flour had fallen onto the coils but no, the burn had to come from the motor housing. The last breadmaker I had lasted for six years, so I'm not happy.

1-Year Update:I still use this machine several times each week for bread, jam, and yogurt. However, after only one year of what I would estimate to be average use, it has started making a horrible squeaking noise when the paddle inside is turning. Also, the settings which are printed on top of the machine have worn off through light cleaning with a wet rag. I don't expect bread machines to last forever but for the price I hoped to get a couple of years out of her.Original review:I use this to make bread, yogurt, jam, and doughs. It's easy to use for all of those things. The pan inside is non-stick so it's easy to get your food out and clean it. It has settings for other uses too like sticky rice, stir-fry, different bread styles, cakes, etc. I make yogurt in it weekly, jam also, and a loaf of bread every two or three days. It's easy to calculate if you want a loaf of bread first thing in the morning just put the ingredients in and set the timer at how many hours:minutes you want it to be done (not when it will star, all you need to know is when you want it DONE). If you want to make a tear-and-share you can just process the dough in the machine and take it out to bake in a different pan. For jam I just dump a bag of frozen (thawed) strawberries, two spoons of raw sugar, and a spoonful of pectin in and it's done in an hour - no more of that high fructose corn syrup jam or jelly from the store, just three ingredients and you control the amount of sugar. It tastes a lot better than store bought also.

They all die, they just do. My third Breadmaker . I purchased them all from different manufacturers.Well, I lost faith in these. Still better to use these than making by hand. But at this point these machines dont save money because they break too often.

In general the machine works. Once you have a favorite recipe, you get the same bread every time. However, the pan and the paddle teflon covering peeled off quite significantly. It seems like replacement parts are not readily available. I would give a 5 star if the pan was lasting longer.

Been very happy with the performance of the product though it broke just over a year. I reached out to the supplier who wouldn’t return my messages though the manufacturer asked me to send a video and then sent me a new unit within a week!! I was super impressed and happy with the service

small basket, wont bake even. We had a very old one that outperformed this one by far!
