I purchased this fan in February and it worked great during the early spring to start vegetable seeds indoor. It was rarely used once the last frost (late April) passed, but I began to use it again this month. It started out fine for a couple of days, but stopped oscillating. I was prepared to give it two stars, one star for prompt delivery and explanation of its capabilities, and one star for the fact it seems a solid, well-made product. I wrote to VIVOSUN, not to request a refund (way outside of return time frame) but just to let them know if wasn't working. To their credit, they wrote back right away with a request for additional information so they could troubleshoot. I decided to give it another try and, of course, it is working fine now. (Murphy's Law). Since it is working as designed, I am glad to give it five stars, with a compliment to VIVOSUN for the prompt communication. UPDATE: The fan stopped working again. The seller requested a video showing the issue, which I supplied, and they are providing a refund that I can use to reorder the unit, which I will do. I still give the product five stars, as well as the seller.

Many people complain about these fans but they got me through so far one entire grow working basically nonstop for months. They are quieter than my inline fan so the sound is negligible. Moves the air around well. The clamps have rubber on them so they grip the tent poles better. They also have a port for a control hub you can buy separately that allows you to control them with your phone.

Works great. Had it for awhile now. 1+ years id say, the oscillation function has stopped. It still blows air more than any fan I've had. Easy clip on. Perfect size for tents. Great value for a fan that is as powerful as this one. Wish it was still oscillating tho.

Update!!! 9-14-25 This thing is JUNK!!! Like my others, this is a total pile of junk. It failed after 3 months this time. It turns on, barely oscillating and then after less than a minute it just shuts off ... The fan is GREAT until it's NOT! This time it's poor wiring, if move the power cord where it goes into the fan at all it shuts it off... when it's oscillating it creates some movement which is enough to basically wiggle this wire/cord and shut itself down. Again, poor design this time wiring is the issue not motor failure. So please fix your stuff and I'll stop telling people to not buy your crap! DO NOT BUY THIS IT WILL FAIL QUICKLY, trust my experience with these fans. Nice fan for a short period. Make them $10 for the fail rate...June 2025-Original review: Irritated as I purchased what said 2-pack and only received 1 fan...now when u click on the add it says 1-pack that's so funny and not the first time this happened on Amazon. It must be a trick. This fan doesn't last like it should I already had one of these fail from a previous purchase. So when I saw the discounted 2 pack I figured if they lasted that long again at that price it wouldn't be too bad. But it's only 1 for the same high price. They have what I consider budget and poorly made products that will not last long.

Works as intended, hooks up to my existing VIVOSUN E42 controller. Easy to install and gives off a good amount of airflow. Build quality is excellent and built to be taken apart to clean easily.

The media could not be loaded. Vivosun has never failed me so I decided to give it a go with their fans after my husband tried a cheaper product that died after 24 hours. If you’ve never tried Vivosun products, I assure you they are wonderful! From humidifiers to heat mats and lighting, I have fallen head over heels for these items. Plus their customer service is excellent.If you listen to the video I posted, the only sound you hear is our ACInfinity unit, no sound from the Vivosun fans. Here are my pros for these fans:-The Vivosun fans are super quiet, you can’t even tell they are running.-The grip is absolutely amazing and they do NOT slip down the poles. Every other clip fan I have owned falls or slips, but not these babies!-Multiple speeds: you can’t even tell choose a simple breeze to high winds with the tap of a button.-Possible to hook up with inline systems- we did not do this as we have different setups and brands. OR use alone - which is what we did here.-Less equipment needed. Usually we have at least 3 fans going in a 4x4 grow tent, but we only need 2 of these. The oscillating function provides consistent movement across all plants.-Perfect for both soil and hydro. Excellent value - price point is comparable to most others on the market.-Mounting position: This is my favorite part next to the non slip feature. Normally we have problems with the fans pressing into the tent walls, but these sit out just far enough that they do not hit the walls.CONS: None, and I’m not being paid to say this, nor have I received any free products. These are my honest opinions - I have tried several brands over the past 6 years I have been growing and Vivosun are my faves!

motor is super quiet but still moves a ton of air. The oscillation is solid for covering the whole tent, and it's easy to tweak from the app. Way better than my old clip fan
