It actually does have a numbing effect. I know because I got it on my lips. Don't use it on your lips. If you're not me and you use this properly you will like it.

It really works & it takes the pain away!
I had a boil on my inner thigh & believe me it took the pain away! I knew with lidocaine in the medicine would work because I've used other stuff with lidocaine but I wasn't sure how long it would work but for the most part it kept the pain away for a couple of hours!
