I have used several different kinds of silicone nose pads. The adhesive is always the issue. These things operate in the oily T-zone of your face, and put up with a pretty demanding body chemistry situation. Also, I do very physical work; with sweat, dust, dirt and sawdust being a regular environment that these things have to deal with. The silicone nose pads i’ve used in the past were harder and more uncomfortable and the adhesive would break down after about a week, or i might get two weeks out of a pair if lucky. These Setex nose pads are softer, they grip my nose better, and I’m one year and one month into a 5 pack of these, and just now using the 5th pair. So, that’s over 2 months of wear for each pair of nose pads. I know everybody’s body chemistry is different, and what your eyeglasses are made of also affect how well the adhesive holds. Note: I always wipe down the nose pads on my eyeglasses with rubbing alcohol before sticking these on, always. I wear Ray Ban Wayfarers and i’m very pleased with how these have held up, and i’m actually coming on here to buy a 15 pack and wanted to leave a review because I have liked these so much!

The bridge of my nose is narrow and my glasses constantly slid down. I bought the clear thick version of Gecko Grip pads and they work Perfectly! My glasses stay put all day and are not obvious or weird looking. Saved me from buying another pair of prescription eye glasses.

I got the thickest pads and they are thick and do raise your glasses up, which is what I needed. I have black glasses so the black pads don’t really stand out. The adhesive is holding on strong and the anti-slip “gecko feet” work much better then silica pads. Physics still apply so the glasses do slip if I’m looking down and sweating while working. Dead skin and face goo do pack into the “gecko feet” micro-fingers. It’s not visible and easily removed by scraping across with your finger nail, emery board, knife edge, etc. and blown out or wiped off. I do this every few weeks to month to keep performance high. Yes, I will buy more when I get through all the pads, which I think will take a long time.

While these are very comfortable, I think it might be the only good thing I have to say about them. A single pair only lasted 3 weeks before the adhesive would get gummy & pull off like the glue stripes they use to attach gift cards to the cardboard packaging. My frames would start sliding all over the place & then the pads just pop off, falling onto my desk at work or into my bra. I knew they wouldn't last forever before needing replaced, but for the price I was expecting better adhesion. Flakes of dry skin would stick to the glue material around the edge of the entire nose piece and make them look gross very quickly anyway; this never happened with the stick on foam pads I used on metal frames. Must be the kind of adhesion material used because I don't have issues with dust building up around the edges of products using real 3M sticky (such as my baby locks). The micro ridges that are supposed to make them like gecko's toes so they don't slide, also create micro pockets to trap oil, dead skin, and dirt. It's impossible to clean the surface of them; the dirt just sticks in all the ridges like glue. Heck dirt sticks to the outside of the nose pads better than the nose pads stick to the actual glasses! The pads also did not prevent sliding of my glasses any better than standard, silicone pads. Since I ran through an entire small pack of these in 2 months, I'm now ordering more standard silicone pads instead, which at least are easy to wipe off due to a lack of ridges.

I’ve had these on for a month and they show no signs of wear or budging! My face is somewhat oily, and another brand of adhesive nose pads slipped off constantly, I went through 5 pairs in a month! I am still on my first pair of these and expect that they will last a lot longer. They also don’t put too much pressure on my nose bridge, I wear my glasses all day every day and do not have any marks at the end of the day when I take them off. Truly perfect.

I'm used to wearing Wire Frames, but this time I went with an old fashioned Solid Plastic Frame because with my having really bad astigmatism, the lense tends to pop out of wire frames. For some reason they don't sit right as they tend to be lower than they are supposed to be on my nose causing problems with my vision.I've tried the other types of nose pads, but they always came lose quite easily what with sweat and skin oil.So I decided to try this brand after having done some research. At first I went with the 1mm thick pads. They worked good, but they still went right for my vision. Next I tried ordering these ones, the 1.8mm thickness and they are just right for positioning my glasses on the bridge of my nose. They feel comfortable and hold your glasses in place.As for the adhesive, for the 1mm thick pads, it usually lasted about two weeks for me.The 1.8 mm thick pads I have not had to change yet and it's already been about a week.I would really like to think that hopefully they could improved the adhesive so that it'll last longer.For applying the pads, I first clean the nose rest of my glasses with Isopropyl Acohol and either a cloth or cotton ball. Then I carefully hold onto the bottom of the pad and use a pair of tweezers to pull the backing part way of the pad. After this I use the tweezers to hold the edge of the pad in such a way to make it easy to apply and I carefully grab a hold of the peeled backing and pull it off, then using the tweezers, I apply it to where it's gotta go, then I do the same for the other pad and I apply some pressure to them to make sure they are fully applied.I keep a small bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol on my with some tweezers and the pads just in case they come loose and my last pair of glasses so I can see what I'm doing. I keep them in a Man Bag (a pocket book for men).So I highly recommend these.

I have plastic frames and they seem to stick pretty good. When I get sweaty at the gym, or work in a dusty workshop, the glasses stay on my face. The first set came loose after about 1 months, so not bad for the price.

It seam they were made out of quality material. Very easy to install and very comfortable. Strongly recommend over cheap versions.

I bought these pads to combat that perennial issue of ‘nose slide’ and they certainly do the job. Very easy to apply by simply removing the backing and applying to pre-cleaned nose pads: the glue is strong and, unlike cheaper products, they haven’t fallen off as yet. I was pleased with the thickness of these because there was a substantial gap between my nose and my glasses, and they have a cushioning effect, which means you aren’t left with red indents. Excellent product!
