1989 Batmobile RC

Gift for a Batman fan. This is really cool looking and huge! We love the smoke and sound effects. The car is also fun to play around with. It's built really well. Pricey little gift but very worth it.

As a huge fan of Batman 89 this batmobile captured the awesomeness of its appearance in the film. Although it maybe pricey the design of the Batmobile is great, the rotating display with lights i really enjoy. Its ideal to put it on during the evening or a dark area that highlights it. I also like the mini batcave attached to it such as the computers and seat. The smoke effect from the afterburner is icing on the cake, which you fuel by adding water. I chose to use caution and empty the water from the car if i planned on not using the smoke feature for an extended period of time and refuel it when im ready to use it again. The pop up guns and headlights are a nice feature as well. If you slide the batman figure in the the car it will play the batman 89 theme briefly which is great. My only minor criticism would be i wished the batcomputers lit up or had an image on them and i wish the guns made a bit more sounds. Not deal breakers by any means but would've been nice to have. All and all spin master did a greatjob with this batmobile. In my opinion the best batmobile on the market 🙂

Love this car!

I have the hotwheels 1/18 scale batmobile and I thought it was the best batmobile I could get, until I saw this thing. TLDR: Well designed, unique representation of the most iconic batmobile that will make you feel like a kid again. Design 5/5: -Well proportioned and Screen accurate look. -Scale is over 1/18, but the car fits nicely on the full width of a detolf shelf. The base is bigger than a detolf shelf can support but can sit nicely on the top. -No metal but it does not need it. -Remote quality is fairly basic but this is not a drone needing a spectrum dx transmitter, it's a toy. -Unboxing experience feels like that of a premium product. Driving Features 5/5: -Lightweight and fast. This thing feels like it's running on brushless motors. Make sure you put your pets away and have enough room to test drive it. -Speed and turn control depending on how far you push the stick. -Engine sounds that change depending on how much throttle you give it! Price: 4/5 -While the price of admission may be a bit steep, I could see this item going for $300 and people still getting it regardless once it runs out of stock everywhere. -If you don't need the electronics and the novelty factor of having an amazing electric led lit base, there are several cheaper offerings to choose from. Gimmicks: 5/5 -Jet exhaust with jet sounds!! -Front and rear lights -Rotating turntable batcave display -Pulsing led display lights -Pop up guns and Sliding canopy which are neat but I wish they would retract automatically too. That would likely had required advanced engineering and driven up the cost. -Cockpit light with sound playing when you put the figure in. -Not a fan of the walking away footsteps soundeffect, but whatever. -Did I mention Jet frikking exhaust with jet sounds?! Fun factor: 5/5 Made me feel like a kid again. They say boys never really grow up, their toys get more expensive. This is what this "collectible" is all about. Just pure fun. Overall, I am really pleased with this. My only regret is I should have gotten this on preorder when it was about 30$ cheaper at one point.

Bought this for my man/bat cave and not so much as rc car. But the rc car is super fun to play with. The car is very detailed and is worth the price. The car is heavy and built very well. Easy to use and the size is large enough to delight kids all the way to us older nerds.

For 89 Batmobile options available right now this was the choice for me. Aside from being a 1 seater it's very accurate looking and I enjoy the rotating light up base. Unfortunately the base stopped rotating, it was weak from the start and stalled before it gave out after a few days so be aware. The new base shows none of the problems that the 1st had but I am not feeling very confident in the quality control overall. The replacement Batmobile had some splotchy looking oil spots all over it so that's going back. Overall I'm still happy with what I paid for ($155), it's a beautiful Batmobile with good build quality. The control's are responsive but the buttons are not -they do work eventually. The smoke effects are very fun and a missed opportunity to dress up the exhaust area. I don't plan on playing with it aside from terrorizing my cat on occasion and it looks fantastic in my collection.

Estoy emocionado de tenerlo, no 100% satisfecho porque hay cosas que mejorar y más por su valor. El batmobile es espectacular, la base increíble, a la hora de manejarlo es muy práctico. Para tenerlo de exhibición es perfecto, pero siento que algunas funsiones están fallando, y lo menciono porque he leído comentarios acá de quienes lo han comprado, y de algunos unboxing en YouTube, las armas se traban y el humo deja de funsionar. Lo de las armas pasa más seguido cuando tiene poca carga el Batmobile, el humo dejó de funsionar el 2do día, lo cual me tenía decepcionado porque uno de las motivaciones al comprarlo era precisamente eso, pero, creo que le encontré la solución y espero que algunos les funsione también. Cuando se pusha el botón de humo, solo hace el sonido y se enciende la luz de la turbina, pero no echa humo, lo que hago es soplar la turbina en el momento que está en funcionamiento, osea, pusho el botón de humo, y luego me acerco a la turbina, soplo y automáticamente empieza a funsionar, solo vuelta a fallar cuando se deja mucho tiempo sin usar, y simplemente vuelvo a poner en práctica lo anterior. Ahora bien, lo que nunca he podido controlar y no encontré en el manual, es el tiempo de carga, porque le he tenido hasta 8 horas seguidas cargando y nunca llega a dejar de parpadear la luz, ya probé con la base y con cargador directo , y con ninguno llego a saber en que punto está cargado al 100%.

Vale cada peso , la calidad del producto es muy buena, lo único bueno que nos brindó la película de flash fue la mercancía de Batman 89 , este Batmobile no decepciona en lo más mínimo, no le encuentro área de oportunidad más que el hecho de que las metralletas no traen efecto de audio . El auto funciona excelente y la base giratoria otro nivel. Si bien es un producto caro , creo que vale cada peso .

Wow is this thing awesome!! I have quite a few collectable Batman and Batmobile collector pieces and I honestly have to say this is right up there in my top 2. The lights, sound and smoke effects really take this to the next level and I can confirm that the batcave base DOES charge the Batmobile. Some reviews seem to think it's expensive, but I don't see it that way. Not sure what people expect at this price point, but it's priced fair in my opinion and I can see this selling between $450 - $500 when they sell out. Even at that price it's still worth having. Pros- Lights effects Sounds effects while driving are a really nice touch. The smoke effects really take this to the top of my list, that alone makes this piece really stand out from the rest. The speed - wow is this sucker is fast!! Makes it quite a joy to drive around, feels like I'm right there in the 1989 Batman movie! The box that comes in, very well packed and great art work. Cons- Only thing I can critique is the Batman figure. It's a bit cheap looking, but for me, this piece is all about the Batmobile and the Batmobile is pure 🔥 If anyone is thinking about buying this, I highly recommend it. La verdad la pieza tardo mas del mes de entrega pero fuera de eso llego bien la caja y todo, y encerio ya probadolo es increible , la arqutectura no es metal pero esta bien , corre muuy bien y su base para exhibirlo le da un toque magistral , 100% recomendable
