Konig & Meyer Pro microphone boom stand- 210-9

This boom stand is pretty much an industry standard for semi-pros and is very sturdy. The best feature is that the base is really heavy, so it stays put. Please note you don't get any clips for mics, etc, you have to get those separately and screw them on, but they are really cheap.

Superb mic stand 🙌

One for the studio that, with the big counterweight, will cope with the weight of a Neumann TLM49, a Shure SM7b or Electro-Voice RE30. The heavy base and locking castors keeps it all stable and reasonably mobile. The mini-boom with its 3/8 and 5/8 options make it easy to work with mics that come with the option of a vertical orientation of a suspension mount, or where one wants to have a mic close to the desktop without the main boom getting visually in the way of the monitor.

An indsutry standard, with the same design and construction quality as the K&M "Topline" (210...) range, it's functional and well able to survive the usual studio and gig abuse. Tripod design and base weight give it great stability, even with the boom arm fully extended and carrying a range of mics including the usual Shure SM57,58, suspension mounts and various condensers. The boom hasn't distorted and the wing-nut joint has kept the boom in place in spite of heavy vibration. I've used it successfully to mic up my Marshall amp, both acoustic guitar and anglo-concertina when seated. The centre post on mine, looks a little shorter than the illustration, but you can easily position a mic, with it's centre 72cms off the ground when the boom is at an angle of 50 degrees from horizontal. And to about 85cms if you use the 130mm extenstion tube (part# 6-23200-3-55) from the table top mic stand (23200-300-55). Interchanging K&M parts can give quite a bit of flexibilty. And since the tripod base will easily fit into 40x40cms space you can also use this on a desktop or worktop.

I received this stand reasonably fast, coming at the start of its estimated time. I was pleasantly surprised with it when opened. After finally positioning it correctly, it proved to be very comfortable rested on the floor. My microphone (Rode NT-USB) screwed on nicely and it seems like a very good stand. PROS Sturdy and strong Lightweight CONS A bit confusing on how to position the mic at the right height. Maybe have a clear diagram/picture?

Before I opened the box the quality was evident. Solid, well engineered and so much better than I’d anticipated even after reading the other reviews. Worth every penny and more.

Ich habe heute bereits mein zweites Exemplar dieses Mikrofonständers von König & Meyer erhalten. Das sollte eigentlich schon alles aussagen. Ich benutze diesen Ständer mit einem Rode-NT-USB. Bei den Rezensionen zu den billigen Stativen im Preissegment von 15-20 Euro konnte man häufig lesen, dass der Schwenkarm das Gewicht nicht halten kann und ständig in sich zusammensackt. Und wie man so schön sagt: Ich bin zu arm, um billig zu kaufen. Also habe ich gleich die 45 Euro investiert. Und ich bereue nichts. Der Ständer macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und steht nach dem Justieren absolut stabil. Der senkrechte Teil des Stativs lässt sich auf ca. 160m ausfahren + die Höhe die durch das Dreibein noch draufkommt, dazu hat der schwenkbare Arm (den man ebenfalls senkrecht ausrichten kann) noch mal eine Länge von ca. 85 cm. Alles in Allem dürfte auch ein 2,70 Meter große Mensch keine Probleme haben, sich das Mikrofon auf Mundhöhe auszurichten. Dem Ständer liegen noch zwei Klemmen bei, mit deren Hilfe man das Mikro-Kabel am Ständer entlang führen kann, um Kabalsalat zu vermeiden. Wirklich sehr, sehr empfehelnswertes Teil.

I just received the mic stand 201/2 I ordered, and I’m very disappointed. The packaging was a reused, partially ripped box. Surprising for a “new” item. The stand itself has visible scratches, especially on the base. At no point was it stated that this was a used product. Worst of all, the stand doesn’t function properly: the upper part will not lock in place. After removing it from the base, I found a cracked internal piece. This was advertised as new, but what I received feels used and defective. I expected better quality and transparency, especially from your brand.

İnanılmaz efektif bir sehpa; ister uzaktan ister yakından, ister üstten ister alttan her yönden konumlama yapılabiliyor, çok beğendim. Ayrıca ağırlık inanılmaz, çok sağlam, devrilmez bence. NT1 5th gen taktım bana mısın demedi.
