OtterBox Defender Series Screenless Edition Case for Samsung Galaxy Note10+ (Only) - Case Only - Non-Retail Packaging - Black

This was the perfect replacement case for my original Defender Series Case for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 + 5G phone, which had become worn on the actual rubber portion of the case, directly around my phone, and I no longer was able to use the rubber on/off button on that original case, which required me to pull out, and re-insert my S-Pen, just to unlock my phone, to use it. This new case works out perfectly and the rubber on/off button now works again, and best of all, this new case still works with my original outer shell case to clip on my belt, and keep my phone protected, when not in use, while traveling. This case allows minimum replacement of your original defender series case that included phone case and clip on plastic overcover case, allowing you to simply swap out the phone case, and still use your original outer case, with this new one.

Tried and true, I had one of thesesince 2017 or 2018, and it took an M1 Abrams cooking the phone to finally have the plastic cracking. Even with the actual phone's back disintegrated, the case held all components together until I finally repaired it half a year later. It held the components so well that despite that back being gone, the phone still functioned.

Incredibly tough, perfect for, easy to hold, love it!!

I hold on to my phones for a long time and my other case just got worn out from the use. I couldn't find one in the stores because they don't carry them for that model anymore. Well I am glad I found this! It's fit my phone perfectly as it said it would. I tend to drop my phone and without it I would probably need to replace my perfectly good phone.

Very pleased with this phone case. It's slim and doesn't add bulk the phone, which for me is important because I usually carry it in a suit jacket breast pocket and I don't want my phone bulging out of my jacket. It's provided excellent protection for my phone over the years, saving it from almost certain damage on several occasions. While I have had to replace it once after the first one started to fall apart, I got a good number of years out of the first one so I can still say this is a durable product. I keep my phones for long time before upgrading, but if you're the type that changes phone models every year or two, this case will definitely outlive your phone. Installation was simple, but the design keeps it from coming apart when it's not supposed to. It's a little pricier than lots of other cases, but if you value protecting your phone, it's worth the money.

Definitely will repurchase

I always need a durable case for my hubby, he's always dropping it. I've bought this one before, he dropped it 30ft rock climbing and it still worked!!!

Firm believer in otterbox!!

I bought this replacement after my old one started to fall apart, because its predecessor saved my phone from damage in several hard collisions, which would definitely have wrecked the phone without it. The screen protector that belongs with it comes completely off, which facilitates use of the phone, but also apparently tends to lead to loss of the screen protector. I guess the vendor consequently sold a lot of screen protectors because of such losses. If you still have a screen protector that fits this item, I highly recommend it. If you don’t already have the screen protector that belongs with it, I don’t recommend it.

Turned out great. My original OtterBox, from 2020, had lasted all these years, but the past few months began falling apart fast. I took a chance in buying this one. It arrived in a generic box, and when I took it out, it looked exactly as I was hoping for. It's got the hard cover beneath the softer outer shell. Now, my old one has been used/dropped/wiped regularly with hand-sanitizer for 5 years, so I'm unsure if it has softened from all that use or not, but the new one is firmer than my 5-year-old one, yet still as pliant as needed to be able to peel the side away and stuff my debit/credit cards behind my phone (between the softer/harder sections) and easily access them for purchases, just like I did with my old one. The buttons are a bit stiff, but they work well (maybe they'll soften in time). I've been using it for a week or so, making sure all was good before leaving a review. Very happy with this purchase, and am hoping to keep my old Galaxy Note 10+ in use for a while, as I haven't had any problem with the phone or its battery.

Strong and sturdy

This wasn't for me personally, but the recipient is happy with it and I've heard no complaints. OtterBox is generally a pretty solid brand.
