Perfect gift idea
I bought this to record our family tree for my Dad for Christmas. He is not tech savvy so he can't use websites to see our family tree so this was perfect for my to write down some of our tree for him. I chose the rolled version and it came very well packaged, rolled up and placed inside a plastic pocket, then posted in a solid carboard tube. The tube has a cap so I was able to store it in there and take it out as many times as I needed while I worked on it up until Christmas. I went on the purchase the family tree tube before gifting and it was all worth every penny. Overall very happy and I will purchase another one next year to do my Mums side for her Christmas gift.

Format for recording direct ancestors
This is a very easy to use chart for recording one's direct ancestors - parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc - but doesn't allow one to enter other relatives such as aunts and uncles and their descendants. I would recommend it as a beginners chart to get one going on what might become an absorbing hobby. If it does there are other charts available which allow one to add a much wider ancestral heritage.
