A fine clock of classic design , looks good in our newly refurbished Kitchen BUTIt is very expensive , although of good quality it is not that good !

Beautiful clock, but the minute hand catches the hour hand and wont go beyond it. I'm really disappointed. I saw many of the negative reviews, but thought I's risk it. I have three Mondaine wrist watches and love each one. This problem should have been spotted by quality control at Mondaine. For £275 this shouldn't happen. Interestingly, I can't find anywhere on the clock or the packaging, where the actual clock was made. I'm doubting it is genuinely Swiss made -like their wrist watches. If it was Swiss made, surely it would be written with pride on the back of the box? I do hope Mondaine aren't getting it made somewhere very cheap outside Switzerland and selling it on with a huge mark up. If anyone at Mondaine is reading this, please do clarify. I'd like to know before I risk another. If I want another via Amazon by the way, the price is an extra 25 quid (now at £299.)

Bit pricey but worth every penny in my opinion. Looks amazing, we’ve been using it for years. It is still going strong. My partner is visually impaired but he is still able to read the arms on this clock. 🕰 I have not found any other clock that I like more than this one.

A995 400mm Mondaine clock is an extremely precise clock including a smooth sweeping second hand from the Seiko 44803 movement. We have seen zero seconds +/- per day in its accuracy so I cannot fault it.

Very disappointed. I thought I would get this top quality Swiss Railway Clock. I have an equivalent Mondaine watch and am very happy with it. I arrived with a mains lead, but no UK plug attachment so I could not use that. It also has a battery option. I have to use this but the batteries don't fit perfectly and the clock loses about a minute a day. Swiss railway clocks are famous for their timekeeping, but this is not one.It's a real shame that something so expensive does not fulfill its basic reason for existing and keep good time.

I have always wanted this clock after visiting Switzerland many years ago, finally had an excuse to buy one. It is a work of art, and the second hand sweeps like all good Swiss automatic watches.

A beautiful looking clock, but it lost 5 minutes a day. After a few days I got fed up with adjusting it. Fortunately, I still had all the packaging and was able to return it and get a full refund. I have had no update from the supplier - I could not recommend buying this product.The one star is shared between the looks of the clock, and the brilliant returns process handled by Amazon.
