It feels about as comfortable as my wife's Petzl, and having the battery at the back helps balance the weight. It's still not outright comfortable, but that's probably just because of the nature of the device.The brightness is amazing, though, and you can see for miles. I've been using it for running in the dark in a country park and have absolutely no issues whatsoever being able to see - in fact it's probably brighter than running in daylight sometimes. Battery life seems decent, as I've been using it for a few hours now straight from delivery and have yet to charge it. I can only hope the battery life remains good, but it seems that replacements aren't exactly difficult to come by on Amazon so I don't have any worries there.For running, it really seems to do the job but wear a hat to help with the comfort.Oh, just one minor down-side - on my first run, the lens fell out on one of the smaller LEDs on the side, but I picked it up, and screwed it back in and it's been fine since. But I would suggest you make sure they're all screwed tight when you receive it, and give it periodic checks just to make sure. But that really was a minor issue which was easily fixed.

Excellent value and very very powerful beam. At night you can literally see the beam going off into the distance.From my garden I can focus the beam on trees well over 50m away.The main beam can be focused by turning the ring on the front. I’ve no interest in the main LED flashing function and i’d prefer if it had a dimmer function instead. The literature says it’s waterproof and it has a rubber battery cover however the little rubber cover for charger socket has come off and is lost on mine, although this hasn’t caused any problems and I’ve used this item many times in heavy rain with no issues at all.Overall great value and very powerful. The battery life is fantastic.After reading the few negative reviews on this product they seem to be from the few people that have been unlucky enough to receive a faulty unit (that happens with anything). One or two negative reviews regarding it not being comfortable enough clearly from the ‘professionally disappointed’. At £12.97 this head torch is fantastic value!! Would definitely recommend.

Simply great product.I have used this product for months and it became an indispensable companion for any work in the attic or dimly lit areas. The LED torch has variable focus so you can pinpoint the area or light up the whole room with the full power of 5 separate lights.USB rechargeable battery holds enough charge to work for hours with all lights on. The head grip/band is truly comfortable and can be even attached on a hat. My son thought hard about what he wanted before choosing this particular headtorch. He's had it 9 mnths now, used it for night hikes and play. Totally happy with it. Just found the email from 9 mnths ago, asking us to write a review. Because it's been such a good purchase, I'm actually going to the trouble of writing this.Only thing I don't like about all these torches, is the single on,off button, which you cycle through for the different functions. If you wish to change between full brightness and dimmer, maybe sellecting a different bulb or different number of bulbs (I know they aren't actually bulbs!), the single button is a pain. You do this often on a night hike, balancing background walking light, with brightness looking at something in particular, with conserving battery life. Really miss a separate button for each separate light. But as I say, they are all like this. If somebody sold an equally good light as this one, but with multi buttons, then I would buy that instead, provided it was as good in all other respects as well.

Generally very impressive for the price!Niggly points:The Headband doesn’t have enough adjustment for my head and it feels a bit snug, especially with a thin woolly beanie hat on too. My head is 58” diameter! To be fair I think it needs to be tight to keep the lamp and battery pack from shifting around when on the move.The charging port rubber cover pulled off the first time I went to charge it and it won’t fit back on, so the waterproofness is probably affected.Loose threads and poor stitching on the ends of the headband.The good points:Didn’t need to read the instructions.Price is good.Build quality (other than the issues mentioned) is not bad.It’s very bright! The photos attached show it in action with all four settings.It’s made my evening dog walks much more enjoyableIt’s still too early to comment on durability, battery life or water resistance.

I'm very impressed! I bought the head torch for running on country tracks where there isn't any other artificial light. I tried it on all of the settings and found the best one for running is the second one which lights up the 4 side LED's. On this setting it light's up a wide area, and once I got the angle right, I could clearly see from just in front of my feet for a good 20m which is ample for running. I was dubious about the weight of it and weather it would bounce up and down or ride up my head while running but was surprised how light it actually felt and how comfortable it was once I started running. It certainly gives off enough light for runners and walkers in complete darkness, my only concern would be blinding any on-comming pedestrians or driver's. No problems with delivery which was next day. For the price a well deserved 5 stars.
