Donated to cats in crisis charity and they say it's great and has caught cats for them, feral and domesticated 🐱

Wouldn't recommend this item as I've recieved it but can't use it as it's faulty.When you set the trap by sliding back the top handle the door of the trap slams shut straight away. So you can't actually set the trap at all. Feeling disappointed as it's not the cheapest trap and contacted the seller 3 working days ago about return/refund and still have had no reply.

Described as "Condition: Used - Good - Item in original packaging".The item was found to be new, but with a few bent components. It took me about 10 minutes to straighten the items and reconnect the spring - now works as expected. And I got it for less £!

It is soooo easy to set up, so easy to use, and the right size for big cats!!! Excellent product!

We were very pleased with the cage, it is an excellent replacement for our old one. Very easy to assemble and to store.

I was using orange oil concentrate to use as a feral cat repellent. While it did work somewhat, it wasn't a feasible option as rain washes the oil away and you need to keep repurchasing and re-spraying it. So i decided to purchase this Havahart 1092 Collapsible One-Door Easy Set Live Animal Cage Trap, and I'm so glad i did. I wanted something humane and something that didn't hurt the feral cat. I also wanted something safe to use for myself as I never trapped an animal before. When I got the trap it was so easy to setup. I saw reviews here that said the animal sometimes escapes the trap and this made me nervous as I was going to relocate the feral cats I have captured.What I did was think about how i can make this trap/cage even stronger to avoid any animals escaping as they are being transported in my SUV. The last thing i need is an animal to get loose while I'm driving them to their new home.I secured the back end of the trap with heavy duty zip-ties. This way the animal cannot get out through the rear of the trap. This trap already has a security feature which seems secure enough, but when it comes to a wild animal you always want a second security feature as a back up. Now the end of the trap has the metal rods and zip-ties in place. This take care of the back end of this trap. Next is the front of the trap....I found a metal rod that fits through the cages front door. After the trap has caught an animal I slide this rod into place. This gives me piece of mind that the front door wont open no matter how much the animal tries to escape through the front door after being captured. The only bad part is it is a manual process. But it is a secondary security feature that makes me feel secure. Especially transporting the animal.After Amazon delivered my trap, on my first day I caught a feral cat at dusk. This is how i did it.First i set the sensitivity of the trap door to the most sensitive option. Then I lined the bottom of the trap with thin cardboard, all the way up to the end of the trip plate. This is the plate the animal steps on to trigger the trap. After the trap was all ready to go I picked a spot to drop my trap. I took 1/2 a can of tuna and put it in a small paper plate. I then put that plate on the ground. I then put the end of the trap on top of the plate. "I did not put food into the trap". This would cause a mess. I placed the trap on top of the tuna plate with the tuna on it, the tuna went through the trap grate/metal squares. I then walked away. After a few hours my camera detected movement in my backyard where my trap was located. I see a feral cat starring at the front of the trap. About 15mins later, my camera alarm went off again, this time the front door was closed and i saw a feral cat in the trap. I let the cat sit in the trap for 10mins without it being bothered, this way it relaxes and eats the tuna.This was my first time ever trapping and i was nervous as hell. I know its only a feral cat, but i hear stories of them having rabies, diseases, biting, scratching. So i put my animal gloves on which I purchased on Amazon, these gloves protect you from animal bites/scratches. Thanks to the traps design by the top handle, it has a nice wide metal plate which protects you from any animal bites, etc. I then took my metal rod and slid it through the metal grate, right at the front door. This secures the front door even further if the animal tries to escape. After securing the front door, I took a large blanket type quilt and covered the whole trap. The feral cat was calm, not nervous, not screaming and it ate the tuna before i relocated it. I picked up the trap using the handle and opened the back of my SUV hatch. I then placed a towel on the floor of the back of the SUV. This would soak up any urine, spray or feces. I also made sure the front and back of the trap had something pressed up against it. This gave me piece of mind knowing this animal wont get loose in my SUV while transporting it to its new location.I took the animal to its new location. Took t he trap out of my SUV. Uncovered the trap, pointing the front door away from me. I then removed my metal rod in the front door, stood in the back of the trap, then pulled back the handle and opened the front door releasing the animal. The feral cat ran out the trap so fast and ran to its new location. I was glad to relocate the animal instead of bringing it to an animal control center where it would be euthanized eventually. It's not the animal fault its wild. It's the careless owners who are to blame, and the animal shouldn't have to die cause of an irresponsible owner.I cant talk bad about the Havahart 1092 Collapsible One-Door Easy Set Live Animal Cage Trap, it was a great experience for me and the animal I caught. It would be nice if Havahart included a metal rod for the front door. This would act as an additional security feature. But you can use your own rod. Not a big deal.I highly recommend this trap. Worth every penny.

Envio super rapido y en perfecto estado. Buen material y diseño. Es una jaula muy practica y ademas ideal para evitar riesgo de atrapamiento de la cola o patas cuando se activa la puerta para cierre. Mecanismo practico. Solo le faltaria q pudiera bloquearse la puerta abierta o anular el efecto trampa cuando convenga.

Dies Falle ist in einigen Bundesländern verboten, man sollte darauf achten. Die gefangenen Tiere, Waschbär z.b, veletzen sich sehr stark, wenn sie gefangen sind, bei mir war es so. Sie kratzen am Drahtboden, an den Seitenwänden bis die Krallen abgerissen sind. Das sollte nicht sein. Mit dem Kopf wird gegen die innenseiten der Falle geschlagen bis er blutig ist.Ich habe mir sagenlassen, das diese Tiere in einem geschlossenen Kasten gefangen werden sollten. Waschbären sind nachtaktiv und wenn es hell wird versuchen sie aus dieser Drahtfalle zu entkommen und so kommt es zu diesen diversen Verletzungen.Habe mir eine dem Gesetz entsprechende Falle besorgt.

野良猫を保護するために購入しました。当方は錦鯉６匹と、らんちゅう、桜錦、江戸錦、などの金魚２０匹を食べられ、被害総額は１５万円です。以前使用していた、丸十金網の猫の保護器NO.266は、何度も逃げられて失敗でした。 入り口の扉が重力で落ちるだけのタイプはダメですね。ロック機構の無い物は絶対ダメです。標的は野良猫１５匹と、野良猫にえさを与える近所のおばさん一人です。まずは、余計なトラブルを避けるために、捕獲器は絶対見えないところに設置する。車のトランクに移動する時は段ボールに入れて絶対見えないようにする。作業は夜の暗くなってからにする。家族も近所で猫や錦鯉や金魚のことを話題にしないようにする。見つかれば虐待していなくても虐待していると通報される恐れがあります。動物愛護法に抵触しないよう十分注意しましょう。以上を徹底していたのですが、ある日に警察官二人が、猫を虐待していると１１０番通報があったと言って来ました。その３ヶ月後もまた来ました。敷地内を見て回り、捕獲器を探していました。私は被害金額のこと、虐待していないことを説明し納得して帰って頂きました。うかつにも、会社の同僚に話したところ、同僚が愛猫家であり、私のアンチ派だったようです。なぜ通報者が同僚とわかったのかは、ここでは公表出来ません。ごらんの皆様も私の失敗をかてに、この捕獲器を使いこなして頂きたいと思います。またたびも同時購入することをお忘れなく。百発百中です。素晴らしい。健闘を祈る。

La verdad que muy bueno, era todo lo que esperaba, el producto llego en perfectas condiciones y hasta ahora no he tenido problemas... Es demasiado práctica ya que al plegarse se puede meter en cualquier lugar y es muy fácil de armar.
