Our IKEA sectional was looking rough due to cat clawing, sun fading, and general wear and tear. After researching sectional slipcovers, I began to realize that I was either going to have to take up sewing lessons or get creative. These worked out pretty well. I found that erring on the side of a little bigger and then tucking in the excess fabric would be the only way this would work. For example, the middle wedge is an odd shape (small seating section and larger back) and required me to buy the futon size in order to completely cover it. Additionally, I purchased the chair and a half size for the chaise portion of the couch and the loveseat size for the remaining section.It's not perfect but a lot cheaper than buying a new sectional. I would definitely recommend this!

“Out of the box” review. I’ll edit after I’ve had it for a while.I washed the cover first, and lost the instructions along the way. It was easy to figure out how to put the straps on. There is a tag labeling the top, and the two included straps buckle into loops.My pictures show how the straps are wrapped around the futon.The fabric feels nice, like a good quality and soft. I’m happy to have something I can take off and clean easily.It looks nice and I may get a second for backup.

Well our sofa was in excellent shape but its cover was discolored, stained , torn on sides and also I wash it a lot. Yes i take sofa cover out and wash . A little too much. Can't stand dog hair or stain. I dont even spot clean . Everythin that can be. Gettin new one was way too expensive and this seemed like good solution. Yup it worked perfectly.Its for futon but i got it for my chaise. So couldn't tuck-in length wise but lot available at sides. I have used its own strap to hold from outside. Looks kinda weird. Wish they had custom measurement available.I had bought for loveseat before and for this chaise little later. Even though they were same color , they are slightly different but it didnt matter to us.Its super easy to clean. Everytime I see any stain , excess dog hair , I just pop it into washing machine and take long deep breath. Easy to take out , easy to clean.It is reversible . Usually I use dark side but one day I thought room was way too dark, used opposite side and eversince that day i have been using lighter side ( though i see more hairs , and stain than before ) room looks brighter. To me its one cover, all solution. Yes, I am absolutely buying it again if i need to.Update: I just found they have chaise lounge cover. Will Probably get it next time. So far so good.

Have been using this for 6 months now on our futon. I bought it to protect the futon from pets and to put something nicer looking on it than an old sheet or blanket.Pos: Sofa shield is soft and comfortable to sit on. Protects the futon from spills and pets. Solid brown color looks nice.Neg: The straps to hold the cover in place are useless. The cover shifts, slips, and slides off. Even more if you open and close the futon often. There are 2 straps that go the long horizontal width... if there were 2 more straps going the shorter length top to bottom it would hold the cover in place better. Making the straps tighter does not help because they pull out of the slot in the metal rings. To use the cover I got a few 2 inch spring clamps from the hardware store to clamp the cover to the futon along the frame. (The smaller one I bought first for my chair stays in place better.)To sum up: I still use it because I like the added protection for the futon. It is still good as a throw over the futon to protect it from the pets. I just wish it stayed in place better.

This is the first slipcover I ever had that didn't slip. I use it on a futon sofa, and the straps secure it behind the back of the sofa and underneath the seat. It stays in place all the time, and my dog is a scraper. She loves to get up on the sofa and start scraping like she's trying to dig a hole. And this slipcover takes all that abuse without moving. It's also very comfortable and soft. I have two now, and both the colors are true to what's displayed in the pictures. Excellent for protecting your sofa and looking very nice at the same time. I highly recommend it.

I bought the futon cover to protect the mattress from my kitties. The fabric part is quilted and works wonderful. It washes very well and does a good job. BUT, the straps are awful. There needs to be a complete redesign on how to secure the cover to the futon mattress. I can see where this design works well with a regular sofa or other pieces of furniture. But we actually sleep on our futon. When the futon is in the upright position the straps hang on the floor and does not secure the cover which in turn slides around when you sit on it. It is impossible to tighten the straps enough to secure the cover. When we lay the futon out into a bed the straps are tighter but we are sleeping on it and don't really need the cover to be secure at that time. I am really disappointed. That was a lot to pay for something I can't really use. Trying to find ways to secure the cover now to the mattress but really having issues and now am gun shy to try to buy another of a different type because I don't have the money to waste. The cover also does not protect the mattress on the ends either so I still have to worry about the kitties clawing at the mattress on the ends, which was one of the reasons I wanted the cover.Update: So I decided to buy from Amazon a set of adjustable suspender bed sheet straps like what you would use to keep your fitted sheet from coming off your mattress. Put them on and they worked like a champ. They are underneath the futon so you can't see them. They securely hold the cover in place so it doesn't move around when you sit on it but at the same time because of the elastic you can lay the futon out to the bed position and they stretch with no problems. The cover looks really great and I no longer have to worry.

Compré este cobertor para un sofá cama que tengo en mi estudio donde siempre están mis perros conmigo. Se ve muy lindo y no se llena de pelos, así que el sillón se ve siempre bien. Es de muy buena calidad y tiene unos cintos para ajustarlo al sillón y que no se mueva cuando tus mascotas se suban.

Me gustó la calidad y diseño, quizá no me agradó mucho la manera en la que se debe de ajustar al sillón, pero siendo un sillón sin descansabrazos, es difícil que hubiera otra manera. Todo lo demás muy bien!

These futon covers are great! Bought two one grey one brown. Keeps everything clean and washes up well. Great way to fix up an old futon for a good price.

La medida quedó excelente para mi sofá, sin embargo, la cubierta de tamaño "futon" no tiene cubierta para los descansabrazos, solamente para respaldo y asiento, cuidado con esto... Por lo demás, acabo de recibirla y parece una excelente compra :)

I wanted this to keep my futon dry in the event of “accidents,” but it went right through and now my futon is ruined. Not impressed.
