Whole Fruit, Cold Press Masticating Juicer, Wide Mouth, Fridja f1800 - Complete Juice, Smoothie and Fruit Sorbet Machine

DISCLAIMER - I purchased this item myself and the review is not endorsed by the Manufacturer in any way.Summary - Amazing Product.So I thought I'd take the time out and give my opinion about this product, I have been looking for a masticating Juicer for a while, after losing over 7lb on the 3 day juicing plan, (...) I really enjoyed the plan, but some of the drinks tastes and textures were a little bit hit and miss, from the videos and comments it seems that a masticating juicer or cold press juicer gets a better yield, taste and constancy than the high speed, high noise centrifugal juicers (you know the ones that spin around really fast!).After spending the time looking at all of the ones available on Amazon, I took the plunge on this one, it wasn't top of the range, but is also a little higher than Budget as well. As I feel that you really do get what you pay for.Ordered the product on Friday and it arrived on the Monday, the manufacturers website says that if you order before 1pm then you get next day delivery.The item is well packaged and I was excited to open it. It really does have a prestigious feel about the opening of the product. As in not just chucked into a box with some wrapping paper around it.The quality of the plastics used in the items, can only be described as Dyson quality, if you have a Dyson you will know what I mean by the thickness and sturdiness of the items. Nothing feels cheap and flimsy and everything goes together with a nice chunky click.The Arbour, the central screw that does all the grinding and mashing of the fruit is a good heave weight and fits snugly into the machine, which itself is a comfortable but sturdy weight and even has an inbuilt handle for lifting from cupboards to work surfaces.After rinsing all the components in hot soapy water I got onto my first juicing. Just some apples, lemon and ginger.Oh my days, the pulp that comes out is almost bone dry, the fruit goes in whole, but you have to use the plunger as there is a guide blade to stop the fruit from spinning in the chute, so needs a little push down into the machine. As for the yield, its amazing and none of the fruit separates like it does in the centrifugal juicer, which left a pulp at the top and clear watery juice near the bottom.But the big difference, is the taste. The taste is superb it really is.Thats not all.... The machine comes with different items to allow you to make Smoothies, so it has all the pulp in the drink, but still filters out the items you wouldnt want in a smoothie, for example with Strawberries it filters out all the seeds making the smoothie less gritty as it would if you had made in it a blender. You can also add milk in when you make the smoothie as well.It has another part to make ice cream from frozen fruit. .... YES ICE CREAM!!I haven't even tried this part yet as the fruit has gone in the freezer to try out tomorrow....But wait.... it can do Almonds as well to make Almond milk..... The juicer is well made and the plastic components are all quite sturdy. The design is good, in that, the juicer and pulp chutes are at the front of the machine (unlike some other juicers), the fruit/veg chute is wide, the pulp chute is open on top to prevent it blocking, the carry handle is really useful, and the juice and pulp jugs (with handles) are well designed to fit against the machine. The fact that the silver part of the machine is stainless steel rather than plastic is very nice. It is very easy to use. It doesn't vibrate. It makes an average amount of juice (meaning that it doesn't seem to produce more juice than other low to mid-range masticating juicers). It is very easy to clean, taking into account that juicing sieves do need a bit of a scrub. It has a 250W motor, so is not going to be a very quiet juicer, but it is less noisy than some 150W ones (If you want a low noise juicer consider the Panasonic MJ-L500SXC, another ***** juicer). Makes great juice, quickly and easily. I have tried various other juicers, with prices ranging from £50 -£200 and this one is by far the best!Note: Check the auger for scratches.

I was ready to love this juicer but I am so disappointed.- The top is very fiddly to put on.- Whole fruit can't be put into it as advertised.- They say clear juice and no separation - I have the opposite, pulp filled juice and separation within minutes.- The juice has to be strained through a sieve to make it drinkable.- There is a lot of froth.- I asked customer services about the thick pulpy juice and was told to add water!- Very fiddly to clean

Quiet, strong, beautiful. It just works. It does the cold pressed stuff. It does carrots - more or less whole. We cut the beet root into two before feeding it - but generally it has a big mouth. Celery should be chopped into short pieces as otherwise it gets turned into stringy floss - but all good.I love it.

Excellent juicer. Dilicious smoothies. It is not too heavy, I can lift it up by one hand with the handle. I love it.

Gets hot after a couple of minutes of use. A pain to clean. Whole fruit??? Completely impossible. I always have to use some liquid (water or juice) in my smoothie so I am able to use whatever gets stuck (i.e. Cucumbers, courgette, already cut spinach, etc). We wanted to support designer electronics but are really dissapointed. Also, they deleted a question I asked regarding harmful chemicals for baby food in their plastics.

Bought this juicer, next Day delivery, absolutely fantastic. I get way more high quality juice than my previous juicer, it's much quieter too. Couldn't recommend it more.
