Excellent product! If you want an easy way to spend less time keeping your pool clean, this is a no brainer! The price can't be beat either. I suggest ordering the mesh sock that goes inside the basket for ease of cleaning and keep the finer debris from going through the pump\filter. When installing adjusting the basket is crucial and I restrict the suction on my #2 intake when there's lots of bugs, leaves ECT blown into the pool, otherwise I just let it run without restricted suction. Be sure to empty the basket before turning the pump off or all the debris that the skimmer got off the top of the water will float out and defeat the purpose. Will definitely recommend.... Wish I knew about it soonerENJOY!!

My neighbors Crepe myrtle started blooming early this year and I’ve been cleaning pink flowers out of my pool every time I go outside. Idk why I’ve never had a skimmer on my pool until now. This thing works like a champ. Literally installs in seconds and super easy to adjust to the correct height. After running for just a few minutes it’s already paid for itself. All the surface stuff goes right in the basket.

This skimmer means business. It’s simple to use, easy to attach, and does exactly what it promises: it cleans the heck out of the surface of your pool. Just make sure your pool pump has enough power to create the vortex effect, once it’s going, nothing on the surface stands a chance. Bugs? Gone. Leaves? Sucked into the abyss. Pollen? Vanished.It’s not fancy. It’s just effective. And honestly, that’s all I needed.

My attachment that holds the skimmer in place cracked after a week of it being in the pool. Have not tried fo a replacement part yet but the clamp could have been made stronger. With a little duct tape ists working but looking for a better built replacement.

Great filter! Fits perfectly on my above ground pool. Clean regularly and you can even use sleeves to filter small debris. Nice color and appearance. And very easy to install.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this wondering why does it say frequently return item . Then I got to thinking maybe people just don’t know how to use it. So I ordered it wondering how would it not work like so many comments said it wouldSo when I first hooked it up, it did not work ! lolMy pool has two suction portsSo I thought maybe if I block one it will work so at first I use a Gatorade cap and block the one holeAnd it worksSo I ordered the shut off valves “in pic”As long u use it solo it works great!!

Let’s talk about the red snap-in height adjuster. Who designed this thing - a raccoon with commitment issues? The skimmer kept popping off at the slightest ripple. I ended up zip-tying it in place like a rogue mechanic because apparently, "pull and click" translates to "wiggle and fall off."Seriously, US Pool, was a screw-down mechanism too complicated?That said, once I tamed the beast with zip ties and a bit of spite, it actually worked great. It was catching June bugs and leaves like a champ. All I had to do was lift it out and dump it. Easy. Gross, but easy.So yeah, it works, but only after I outsmarted it. Barely.
