Well made book, lots of information
I loved the little flaps that hid information, would probably suit an older child KS2 that is studying this or someone who has an interest in Shakespeare's plays.

Both educational and entertaining. It might seem a bit expensive but it's good quality
Both educational and entertaining. It might seem a bit expensive but it's good quality and, I imagine, durable.Today it's common for primary school children to study Shakespeare. This would be ideal.

Accessible, Fun And Interactive Shakespeare.
What a brilliant way for young people (and adults too!) to learn about Shakespeare's works in an accessible entirely fun way instead of being swamped with fancy words and difficult prose. Excellent. This pop-up book covers initially a spread about Shakespeare himself including his family and the various jobs, love interests and places he is thought to have had an impact on, followed by a look at all of the works he has done and an over view of each. There are more pop ups and little door flaps to open than your average interactive pop up book, giving readers lots to interact with but also breaking up some of the text to make it easier to digest - something many of us who might have studied (been forced to study!) these texts might have appreciated back in the day!The pages have lots of pictures, some fun and interesting facts and not too much block text which makes them easy to read. The only thing I noticed with my copy was that some of the door flaps were quite thin and so were difficult to open as they were too flat to the page; I had to use my nails a few times to dig the doors free from the page, but I suppose this could have just been my copy. Once they've been opened once though they're much easier to reopen.A really good, accessible and fun read for anyone who wants to learn about Shakespeare in a less intense way!ARC provided free from the publishers in exchange for an honest review.
