Leather M-Pact Framer Gloves (Medium, Black/Brown)

Very happy with my purchase, appear well made, I look forward to having them on hand for everyday tasks, shooting etc. Purchased as a bit of an experiment to see if they may help support/protect a nerve damaged hand while providing better support and control for the remaining limited funding. Only negative is that you can't mix and match sizes as one of my hand is a different size to the other after being mangled in a workplace incident a few years back but that's not an issue specific to these. I will probably just get the wife to alter the other glove for an improved fit. I would have purchased direct from vendor but someone gave me an amazon voucher

So these are called ‘framing gloves’ but perfect in every way. I’m a telecoms engineer, and am required to wear gloves for work, but as my work is very dexterous: for both wires and using my phone: I was always cutting the fingers and thumbs off my other gloves, but because they were cut, they’d always fray and have to replace them monthly. These are really well made, mechanix have done these absolute justice. I also use them around the house for bits of DIY, and are a really comfy alternative

Size fits great and my hands felts well protected to a degree that I got used to push things with the back of my hand since the padding is quite thick you wouldn't feel most things ! Lasted me more than I could have thought so for me it was a good value/lifetime ratio.

Product very good quality - it's Mechanix - well made but simply too big in XL size unlike other ranges produced by same manufacturer - full fingerless, for example, where XL is actually tight on the first few tries you give it a go - here (Framers) XL feels like wearing a bunch of bannanas on both hands, the fingers are ridiculously big - I mean, seriously - you need the middle and index finger fingerless just to compensate for the oversized full fingers its like your own personal half cartoon hand or something. Normally I would just exchange for a better fitting size but apparently you have to wait for refund from seller on account of how they deduct the cost of returning the item from your refund - no free returns here - not finding this value for money, size chart offered is guidance a best. Calling it quits, out of pocket on the deal and I still need to sort out a pair of work gloves. Not the result I was hoping for, not at this price - product in general though very good, there is just an issue with sizing not being consistant across range and seller not offering size exchanges and charging for returns. Shame, I really wanted the gloves, will have to try elsewhere.

So these are awesome but not for heavy duty rigging work or demo etc. I use them for carpentry.

Good quality, seem to stand the work load -so far ( 2 months every day -commercial /industrial electrician) I ordered to size chart , normally im a 9 -medium, the chart said order a 10. I wish id ordered a 9 as i would normally because the Is a little too kuch movement in them. In cold weather they are cold to wear! Being leather when they get wet your hands feel it too. Would be great if there was a liner in them for the colder days. Stitching is standing upto the grunt too so far. Not like a stanley pair i had before these. I would buy another pair after these but in my normal size.

These gloves look beautiful and had to take them off the packaging to try them on for size. It was only then I discovered that even though they came with a document saying they’d been checked I found they obviously hadn’t been. The gloves ring fingers both had hard plastic sticking down at the end of the finger which stuck into my fingers making them impossible to wear. For the price of them I expected much more.
