Got these for card making. They are easy to use, and work great.

Chibitronics are the perfect way to engage newbies and kids in learning about electronic circuits! I've used these a lot over the past few years at events and in classes at our makerspace... and people absolutely love them. They work great unless the surface you put them on is too floppy or flexible, because the stickers are a bit stiff and so they will pull off of the surface and thus away from the circuit. This is a small problem... but I wonder if it would be possible to make more flexible ones that are based on a vinyl type material. I would recommend these highly to anyone who wants a simple way to add LEDs to a craft project.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I’ve been using Chibitronics LED lights for close to ten years and I’ve never had such problems as I did with these lights. I bought 3 sets total, over $100, and out of 3 pkgs, over 80% of the lights DID NOT WORK! I don’t know if it’s due to the bitter cold weather during shipping or what but, these were an epic failure! I was planning that I would have enough lights left over for several other projects but that’s not going to happen. As it stands now, I cannot recommend using Chibitronics products.

They were great after you realized how to work them. They were expensive and you had to more careful with them than the simple diodes. The students like the fact that they were flat and looked more natural in some projects. We watched youtube videos that were helpful.
